Why was this in Norwalk instead of Stamford?
What happened to Judge Blawie?
I think Kevin Randolph is African American. Love it.
Sounds like he's got Norm all figured out.
Has he read about the Albany Ave. spree?
MOO.
It was just initial court appearance. Everything has now been moved to Stamford for subsequent Court events.

Looks like next Court Date for FD is 10/4 (tomorrow cancelled as Colangelo said matters can be handled adminstratively).

Know what I'd love?
A bar across the top of the page that says, "Not 30 bags; 30 stops!"
(It's late and I'm getting crabby!)

Yesterday I mistakenly said "30 bags" and commented on how much that is. I then asked in that post if it was 30 stops.

As @afitzy pointed out the fact is that it's over 30 stops, leaving trash bags all along the way (and possibly unbagged items; not clear from AW).

IMO it could well be OVER 30 bags, as they may have left more than 1 bag at a stop. I have no problem thinking 30+ stops could equal almost 30 bags.

My main/original point: Whether 10, 20, or 30 bags - however many, it's a hell of a lot of stuff - and leads me to think it's possibly more than cleanup stuff, a pillow, t-shirt and bra.

I can’t tell all of you how much I’m enjoying the community of awesome people on this thread. I’m only sorry that it is at the expense of Jennifer Farber and her adorable children, at the hands of someone who should have wanted to protect all of them from this.

Listening to Norm Pattis is getting to me-I know it’s supposed to, because his job is to defend FD, and make the state prove its case. But the state hasn’t even charged FD with murder yet, and Pattis lies constantly about everything, just like FD. Two men who despise women, working together to smear and destroy any woman in their path to FD’s total freedom to come and go as he pleases, on somebody else’s dime. Contrast NP with MT’s lawyer...MT’s lawyer will probably manage to get MT a minimal sentence by the time this is all over, and NP, along with FD, will be a loser yet again.

I personally think JD was in those bags.

We don't know how many bags or how big the bags were, but that's a real possibility.

Perhaps if LE has proof from MIRA, that's why they haven't done further searches? But that might be totally wrong, too. I'm sure they know LOTS MORE.

No Case Norm says to State: "Bring it On!"
Was this the exchange:

Reporter: Are you saying Mr. Fotis was not in that truck?

Pattis: ..... He was not driving that truck.

Because being in the truck is not the same thing as driving it, as we know.

Wonder what's going to happen with the original search warrants? Colangelo has to release them or request a further seal by September 18th. Hmmmmm….That's before the next hearing. Wouldn't it be nice if an arrest happens before 10/4!

GM. I’m hoping you caught my earlier apology/explanation about appearing condescending.
I’ll try to write more, many times it’s my shorthand rendition. Like texting.

Great.
You’re always a clever poster. I never want to appear as any smarter than anyone here. Clever as smart, to make sure I’m explaining the compliment.
EVERYONE here brings their talent to the table. Even the stubborn oppositionists. With their doubt, they play devil’s advocate. And all of us need to make sure all bases are covered. Her justice depends on many people, including ALL of WS supporters.
MANY times one small twist/detail flips a juror’s thinking, reasoning and final decision. And I mean SMALL. As in tiny. Blood on faucet for example. Anyway....

This is a murder who dun it. Your posts are appreciated, by everyone as well as me.
Just making sure.

Agree. This is a fabulous group with smarts and a wealth of experience. Thoroughly enjoy reading everyone's theories with my coffee in the morning.
Norm is really getting to me, as well.
I feel that he and FD are in their own little world.
And it's THEM against the world.
Have spoken with 2 people who watched Dateline and thought he was very convincing.Norm that is.
The contrast between him and Mr.Weinstein is glaring.
As he describes the children and Mrs. Farber in such a loving way, says the children have given her so much purpose and he imagines a smile on her face as she speaks about them and how they are doing.
Kudos to the vibrant senior citizens who are going to take Mr. Fotis down.
MOO.

Pattis after #fotisdulos hearing this morning: “What is noticeable from our view in the information disclosed to the public thus far is any proof that Fotis was present in the car or at the home in New Canaan.”
IMO NP seemed to change his tune a bit between going in to the courthouse today and on the steps afterwards. Going in he was adamant they would not be able to get any proof FD was in NC that day, but afterwards he said the above quote which is much more restrained, basically no evidence has been made public yet.
NP and FD both looked drained coming out as well. I wonder what transpired in the meeting with Colangelo. I did notice that NP cleaned up his ponytail today and Kevin Smith was also more “clean cut” (if you can call it that) than usual. Huge change in demeanor in FD since he grinned after bailing out on AW2 last week. Guess he’s had time to read the whole warrant by now and look through the photo album LE is compiling. Heat is on.
MOO.

I’m not a smart, important TV attorney like Pattis, but perhaps that’s because the crimes his client has been charged with occurred in Hartford and Farmington. Just a guess from an amateur.

Fotis Dulos arraigned on new evidence tampering charges in connection with the disappearance of his estranged wife Jennifer Farber Dulos

We are eager for this fight,” Norm Pattis said during a brief hearing in Superior Court in Norwalk where he entered not guilty pleas on behalf of his client.
Pattis criticized the state’s case against Dulos but his comments were cut short by Judge Kevin Randolph who told Pattis, "This is not the time for final arguments. This court is not a highlight show for ESPN. "
Randolph continued the case to Oct. 4 and moved it to Superior Court in Stamford where more serious cases are heard and where Dulos’ other criminal cases are on the pre-trial docket.
We will have plenty to say about the evidence the state claims to have amassed when and if we get a chance to review it,” Pattis said Thursday. "Mr. Dulos is not guilty and when you are ready to try a case by the appropriate evidentiary standards in a court of law, you know where to find me.”
While investigators have said the case is still technically a missing persons case, language used in the 43-page arrest warrant affidavit for Dulos last week indicates that they believe she is dead and that Dulos was involved in her death though he faces charges of hindering prosecution and evidence tampering.

Yes, what you wrote was what I heard the reporter say and is identical to the original statement video by Fox61 so far as I can tell. MOO

It would be nice to see some action but my suspicion is that the tech details and forensics associated with such a complex case will require a continuance of the seal.

Clearly Pattis is concerned that the AW2 pictures are sitting out there for people to think about and chew over so he is pushing hard for more info and I'm sure will fight hard against the seal being ongoing!

But the State is playing a solid game of chess so far as I can see as Pattis is now feeling the pressure and today we did not see the 'Smiling FD' that we saw outside Troop G Headquarters last week and No Case Norm IMO was clearly in "Pouty Pattis Mode" as well.

IMO FD looked a bit shellshocked today coming out of court. My guess is that he might have thought Pattis was invincible in court and that was simply not how the Judge treated Pattis today IMO.

"Game On", indeed IMO!

MOO
