From the turnout point where the Tacoma was parked for awhile and maybe the suburban together for a bit too ... Is there anywhere he could have dragged and dumped or buried her body from there? In other words, is that area surrounded by woods? I’m sure LE has thought of that already and looked hit just curious.

If FD wasn't driving the Tacoma, to those incriminating places in NC on the 24th, who was? He allegedly had possession of the car at that time. Is he going to argue that MT had the keys and therefore she was the one driving? Those are the only two options, correct?

MT needs to sing like a canary now before she becomes FDs main target of blame. You can bet that he's going to be trying to steer scrutiny to anyone he can to avoid being held accountable for what happened. The clock is ticking and IMO FD has no qualms in betraying those close to him to save his own skin.

They first searched the reservoir the night before the DA first met with MT (6/6 was the meeting I believe). At that point, I was convinced she had given them something to follow up on, but, that we know of, nothing was found.

Today is the third time they've been to the reservoir that we know of. They are there in force today. They clearly have a strong tip that leads them to believe something is there. Hopefully it's MT, she knows all the details, and she's ready to negotiate.

Can you imagine if they are able to recover her body!?

I’ve been convinced that she will never be found, but I really want to be wrong.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong... Has FD ever explicitly said he was "innocent?" I can only recall him saying he "didn't do it," and "I know what I did and didn't do."

Thanks for the explanation. So does this mean that NP & FD can still talk about him being innocent but they can't try to make claims like JD was a crazy, pregnant Gone Girl who abandoned her 5 children anymore?

I keep checking for tweet updates but nothing so far....Guess if they are there (reporters) visually they arent' seeing anything to tweet about? If a canopy goes up at the reservoir - I think we know what that means IMO

I feel so sad that I'm desperately hoping for a canopy, but I think we're all on the same page that JD's family needs closure and a funeral.

I assumed it would be in the fall or winter if it was found, but I'm hopeful today, although we have no way of knowing if that's why they're at the reservoir. We still don't know what the murder weapon was, and I'm not convinced the knife that the guy found in a trash can that he sold for crack is related.

I’m stunned she didn’t fully cooperate from the get-go. A mother is missing, your boyfriend clearly did it, and you think the smart play is to tell provable lie after provable lie?

Maybe Mommie Dearest coached MT on how to drag things out without outright cooperation until she could make a hard deal with authorities for key information. Her mother was convicted of federal charges but didn't 'do any time' herself, IIRC. She's been at MT's side since day 1, IMO, 'working her magic' to set her daughter up for a minimum sentence, and to not take a fall with FD, I would have to believe.

On page 2, para 1 (e) says "with the exception of the defendant" so I think that means he can speak to his own innocence. I was just wanting clarification as to that meaning NP too, since he's representing FD.

Idk I don’t think we can rule out KM ... maybe he’s the source of said tip.
