Just listened to the noon news on WFSB TV and it was reported the search has turned up nothing, but she didn't say so far it has turned up nothing, so who knows what that means.

Wait, they're not going to continue searching? Is that what that means?

No, she simply said that the reservoir had been searched and had turned up nothing. No indication if she was referring to the search so far. No indication from her reporting as to their being there today or if they were if the search was on going.

I just have to keep what this resident said about the search for JD in my mind:

“I know the police are working very hard, but let me tell you, the entire community of Farmington and West Hartford have an eye out for her, and we are going to find her, and we’re going to do it as a community,” said resident Barbara Carpenter.

State police, cadaver sniffing dogs searching West Hartford reservoirs for evidence in disappearance of Jennifer Dulos

If JDs remains are out there to be found I have to believe that they will be found.

This is where I wish there was something in the law that would allow us to use truth serum on both MT and FD. Oh well. If JDs remains did not go through MIRA then I believe they have to be close to Farmington. And close to one of the ForeGroup properties based on surveillance footage and the timeline.

Several people have written about Norm's style, "Bring it on!" etc. I think he's the perfect attorney for FD, as others have stated, the idea is tell the world, "We're different! We're not bad, we're just different!"

But I noticed something else in yesterday's footage. It's something that clients really want from their defense attorneys, and that's constant over-the-top talking and attitude. FD is scared. He needs and wants to look brave in public. At first, of course, he also tried to look innocent. Now, he is trying to hide his intense and overwhelming fear. Norm's manic antics help FD stay focused on something outside his own thoughts.

Because FD's own thoughts are debilitating and panic-inducing. FD didn't look particularly sedated yesterday (I thought his pupils were a bit dilated from fear, but eyes were wide, not droopy as they would be with sedation). In future, he may well be sedated. Norm is trying to pump him up. Norm must be exhausted.

Anyway, Norm is perfect for FD. Talks constantly and says a lot of things that don't actually compute, but are basically aimed at keeping FD's mind occupied and FD's attitude bolstered. "Bring it on!" has to be FD's battle cry, Norm doesn't want his client suddenly looking guilty and deflated. The fiction that FD is innocent must be maintained, now, in front of a jury and scared look that FD is showing is not good. Not good at all for Norm's style and plan of defense.

How are they ever going to sell "Revenge suicide?" if FD sits there looking guilty as sin? Or even just a little bit scared? Since "Revenge Suicide" depends entirely on FD's testimony (is Norm really thinking about putting him on the stand? IMO, NO. It's all been a big bluff as everyone here suspected). They must, up until trial, posture and pretend not only innocent but being "in the know," which FD is no longer capable of doing.

The jig is up, FD knows it, Norm's job ultimately is to keep his client from literally or figuratively collapsing. Norm now needs to control FD's mind pretty thoroughly. I bet they spend time today going over that news footage with Norm pointing out to FD how he has to do better.

He is just oh so disgusting...
Agree!!! The man doesn't even have enough respect for the Judge or the Courts to dress appropriately. My youngest son (31), is in some trouble with police/DA/courts - and let me tell you - he is in a crisp white, long sleeved shirt; black dress pants; a tie; and black polished shoes - every damn time he goes to court!!! Its called respect - whether you are unhappy, disappointed, or p*ssed-off at the predicament you are in - you still show RESPECT. moo (except for the court part - that is true).

Thanks, afitzy! Lest we forget:

"Foley said the disposal of evidence in Hartford was “disrespectful.”

Police said a black Ford Raptor matching Dulos’ truck was documented stopping at more than 30 locations along a four mile stretch of Albany Avenue between Baltimore and Edward Streets. The area is a 70-mile drive from Jennifer Dulos’ New Canaan and a seven-mile drive from Fotis’ Jefferson Crossing development.

“Why would you select that neighborhood? There’s no known ties there,” Foley said in an interview with FOX61 on Monday. “It is probably one of the only all minority neighborhoods in the area in that region of the state. And that one area was selected to dump off that garbage. It seems like to me, as a detective, that’s a person trying to pin it on a person of color,” Foley said. Foley made similar comments on FOX & Friends on Fox News Channel on Friday, September 6. When asked about the comments on Monday Foley said he stood behind them “100 percent.”
Whoo-hoo! Only NINE more pages, and I'm caught up!
I heart Foley. He is a class act whose clear compassion and passion for justice just shine through whenever the press gets a hold of him.

For whatever it's worth...

Channel 3 made up for it at 11 p.m., however, when Marc Robbins mentioned two details that I hadn’t heard anywhere else. First he reported that the search was conducted because of a tip that evidence may be located there, and that the search was unsuccessful.

Dulos case receives more attention

I'm confused... Marc Robbins does sports. Not sure if he works for Channel 3 or Channel 8 currently. His Twitter says channel 8, not 3.

Interestingly enough, I watched a movie last night called Simple Favor with Anna Kendrick . I didn’t even know the preface of the movie but looked interesting. OMG! It totally was a Gone Girlesque movie . It even takes place in CT! Talk about a timing coincidence.

Happy Birthday, Enelram! Enjoy! And please don’t try to drive your lawnmower to CT no matter how interesting it is there! Have a great day!

Just to the west of Reservoir 6, there’s a ‘Hoe Pond’ :D

Just drove by reservoir they were searching yesterday along with 4jxng. News 8 was on scene at the reservoir but can’t see much at the entrance so hard to tell what’s going on beyond the big gates (which were open). I didn’t have the time to stop and do a hunt this am. Nothing going on at jxng from what you can see.

Photo 1, reservoir entrance
Photo 2 perimeter of part of the reservoir, showing some of the power lines that run behind FD house
Photo 3 Jxng

What a beautiful area.

I’m sorry for your son’s trouble, and hope things get resolved, and that he figures stuff out. You are a good mom to make sure he shows the proper amount of respect. Good luck!

Any locals that can drive by and see if there's a search occurring?

That's been my theory all along!

Yeah-putting the lids on those 55 gallon drums would definitely be a loud, metallic sound. So how did this go down-he took JD’s body up to Farmington, and then back down to NC, where all of the racket was made-then back North, possibly to the reservoir?

ETA-I responded to the post that this one responded to...
