Well no, but since LE and the lawyers can't comment on the case, there is not much to report.
I'm pretty sure they can report what they themselves have observed, though, which is probably why they were on the scene at the reservoir. Imo

Yup. The media is free to report anything, even if it comes from someone who is under the gag order.

It is. Tides swell more in a full moon. Miami PD did a report that more violent crimes committed during full moon. Women crazier bc of hormones.
Maybe tides will wash her back.
yes, yes, had an emergency room doc in a class
of mine once and he said they always try to schedule their 'off' time whenever there's a full moon as the crazies come into the ER in hordes.

Ha! That detailing price probably comes close to rivaling the vehicle’s total value.
Ain't that the truth? Farmington Valley prices. I wonder what it costs in Fairfield county? MOO.

I’m jumping a few pages ahead to reply to this so ignore if it’s already been hashed about.

When I heard Foley talk about the racial makeup of the Albany Ave. area community I thought he was trying to maybe make residents angry so they’d be more likely to come forward with information. Some of them may be on LE radar for drug related crimes, etc., such as whoever is associated with Fudge re the knife. MOO

Whenever I read or hear anything coming from LE or even the prosecutor, I’m wondering if they are trying to elicit a response from someone.

It may be that he’s made racist remarks and it may come up at trial if so. I’m just guessing about all of this so...

ETA: Looks like this has already been discussed. Going to catch up before posting In the future.
Not a problem! I have mixed feelings about what he said.
Yet he did say that many of the neighbor's are p'oed about it.
MOO.

I think what the spokesman for Ct state police was trying to say is that Dulos went to that particular neighborhood knowing many marginalized people live there. Whether or not we understand or approve of the choices some of these residents have made, it is quite telling that Mr. Dulos thought he could dump evidence of a murder in their garbage cans.

There is a sense of community and the responsibility to protect one another among people living in even the most blighted community. Yes, even drug dealers and prostitutes (and the hardworking men and woman who often live next door to them) have the right to expect their neighborhood will not be used as a dumping ground for murder. Dulos brought more crime to their door and, in doing so, reinforced the public view of it as a "crime-filled" neighborhood.

IMO he took his garbage there because "those" people didn't matter to him. He would never, ever have dreamed of going to an upscale neighborhood to try this stunt, and aren't we glad he made the bigoted assumption he did? I do think Dulos selected this dump site because in his mind LE doesn't care what happens in that neighborhood. He was wrong and thankfully so. MOO! MOO!

Beautifully said, Oceancalling!

Living in a city where the haves and have-nots are pretty clearly defined by neighborhood, I've seen this kind of disrespect a lot....the dumping of garbage especially.

I've also seen time and again that a finger is pointed at people of color when a crime is committed which I do believe was FD's goal. Susan Smith, who drowned her children immediately comes to mind.

Sleazy as his actions were, I too am glad FD's ignorance led to the fate that is coming his way like a garbage truck!

Can I post a rumor from a reliable source?
Anyone?
Only if it's got an MSM link to it can you post it here on the main thread, per TOS. But you can post whatever you want without links in the private conversations here.

Thanks, hun!
I've long loved the old saying, "If you always do what you always did, you always get what you always got." Today's experience has disproven that as I've called people here and my husband of 50 years "friend" for a long time.
But life goes on when you're Southern by birth and Pollyanna by nature!
@afitzy called me 'my friend' once here and I
felt "honored". I didn't think it was condescending at all in fact just the opposite.

I've long been convinced that FD and MT (and whoever) would not be smart enough to know their emails and computer searches would still exist even after they deleted them. (Gotta' love FBI computer geeks!)

Since these two geniuses were brilliant enough to write out Alibi Scripts and leave them where LE could find them, they probably also did lots of online chatting about how to frame someone for this crime and how to cover it up in general.

Will anyone be surprised if there is also a history...online and verbal...of FD's various prejudices?

Foley may be well aware of this.

Great
For sure. afitzy, it's a serious federal offense to tamper with mail... oh wait, he's already been charged, twice, for tampering!! Add these federal charges to the state charges, please Mr. Postman:

"Definition of Tampering
Generally, criminal tampering is defined as tampering with property belonging to another with no right to do so, and with the intent to cause inconvenience or worse to that person. Theft, destruction and defacement of a piece of mail – a letter, postal card, package, box or bag – from a private mailbox, collection box, postal worker or mail truck is classified as mail tampering.

Federal Laws on Mail Tampering
Because the United States Postal Service is a federal agency, mailboxes are considered federal property, and mail theft is charged as a federal offense. If you are charged with mail theft, you could face up to five years in federal prison and fines of up to $250,000. It is also a crime to injure, deface or destroy any mail deposited in a mailbox. For each act of vandalism, you could be imprisoned for up to three years and fined up to $250,000. Depending on the manner in which the mail theft is committed, you could face other criminal charges, such as assault, and breaking and entering. If personal identifying information, such as names, dates of birth, addresses, telephone numbers, tax I.D. numbers, Social Security numbers and driver’s license numbers, was stolen you could also face identity theft charges."

Consequences for Mail Tampering
Greatly depends on where you live, IMO.
There has been a guy caught on video stealing mail and more in my area.
They arrest him and he gets out the next day!
Seriously! It's a freaking hoot.
Arrested and on fresh video two days later back in business.
MOO.

has Anyone looked at/compared the WS members timeline/maps to the new detailed information released by LE? Could someone give me a link to the WS timelines/maps? I was unsuccessful in locating them. Thank you!

and to take that a step further, we've had a problem w/ mail carriers in my area. They
go through our mail, especially if it looks like
greeting cards- then after opening and checking what's inside, they still deliver it.
We had one carrier fired last year for theft.
But it's not easy to get something done when
it happens.

don't forget even though Festis is a not so large person- I won't say runt again- he has a world class weight room at JC and I'm sure because he suffers from ress his own weight-Little Rooster Syndrome, that he would regularly bench p
prolly all 145 lbs. of hard muscle. So he was no doubt fit enough to handle a body in a barrel.
moo.
BBM. OMG. Dying here.

We had his Memphis cousin doing the same thing here only he ended up with a room full of undelivered mail at home!

I remain saddest that a beautiful woman suffered the ultimate domestic violence... at the hands of someone who once promised to love her. Someone who "loved his children so much" he waited until they weren't home. My opinion only of course but just like OJ where is his grief, over the children's mother missing? Where is the grief for his children's pain?
It seems painfully obvious to me, and again MOO, that there may have been an altercation or event in the kitchen, but that something horrific happened in the garage. Full Dexter. 30 stops to discard garbage bags is more than rags and mops.
My heart goes out to those children. As we've seen too, too many times, sometimes the monsters aren't under the bed.
