Former real estate broker for Fotis Dulos say his Farmington home on 4 Jefferson Crossing was taken off the market today per Fotis’ request last week.

You know....maybe a certain somebody CAN'T sing, without incriminating herself. No way does she want to say what she's done. She must still think she has a chance to skate.

She might even think she can serve a couple of years on tampering charges, steer clear of murder charges or accomplice charges and reunite with a whole lot of money on the other side.

I hate the violence some men inflict on women, but I'm at a loss, what women are willing to do to other women.

I might lose hope in all of humanity if not for GF who is my hero in this.

I agree, the only logical explanation for MT keeping mum is that she is so deep in, she has no choice or she will completely incriminate herself. I expect she played an immense role in the murder of a lovely, loving, kind and talented woman, every good thing MT will never be - MT gleefully moved into another woman's house and home after carelessly taking the husband for herself, after working for this nasty man IN HIS WIFE'S HOME before sullying the sheets in the master bedroom as well - then completely eradicated the woman she hoped to but could never in a million years be. The fancy labels, flat-ironed hair (to look more like JFD?), and shallow interests are the wrapper for a despicable, calculating, nasty piece of work. She and FD were and are horrifically, tragically, disgracefully well-suited to each other - a folie à deux? The only deal MT deserves is a very long term in the women's ward of her lover's prison, where the two can "co-habitate" in the wings of their shared mansion for life. IMO, MOO.

MOO completely here...I think the second AW filed on MT was a gut punch for Bowman and not expected even though it seemed like they got a heads up to turn MT in vs LE showing up to haul her away like they did for FD and her bail amt was lower than FD.

I also do wonder if Colangelo was clear that more charges are coming and MT will get more charges and possibly even a murder charge and this is what has resulted in the MT team looking grim IDK. Bowman is an experienced prosecutor so IMO knows how this game is played but IMO his job becomes very very difficult once the charges start to stack up and especially if murder charge or even manslaughter charges are filed. Just based on the MT charges now it doesn't look like she can avoid meaningful prison time IMO. I don't sense the situation in terms of prison time will get better, but can certainly get worse.

The issue is that we actually know very little about MT role in the overall crime other than her very active role in the Red Truck situation. Her timeline hasn't been disclosed by LE by design IMO as perhaps they are still trying to figure it out but also perhaps that they know what she has done and are using their evidence to gain her cooperation. IDK but something seems to be going on with the way the State is working with Bowman and MT.

The other thing we do not know is whether MT herself was the catalyst behind the alleged murder of JD. Did MT either orchestrate something or try to orchestrate something along with FD and the plan fell apart? We just don't have enough info at this point to say one way or another, but I don't think we can discount that MT was a major component in the overall plan and execution of this tragic crime. As others have said, its very possible that MT herself cannot own up to her role in the crime and perhaps that is what is taking so long in terms of the State or even her atty being able to work with her? IDK.

I wonder if MT may have been involved with
an earlier failed attempt to do harm to JD.
Sick thinking, I know. But this whole crime
is sick. Could MT have been behind other
unscrupulous attempts and in order to come clean must reveal some horrendous deeds which she initiated or participated in?
I suspect there will be some future disclosures
in this case that'll make us all wince. Like

Search warrants related to the case will remain sealed until Oct. 16. State’s Attorney Richard Colangelo requested in June that they be sealed for 90 days. The seal would have expired Wednesday, but it has been extended another month.

The month extension makes me feel confident that LE expects to have additional charges (hopefully murder) filed by then.

So at the most a month we have to wait! Hopefully sooner!

The disclosure of expense reimbursements documentation is reasonably calculated to lead to the discovery of admissible evidence as relevant to the allegations of the third count seek to pierce the corporate veil of Fore Group Inc. and its predecessor companies.

Thanks. I'm almost finished reading the Weinstein motion and Judge ruling again but I agree that this doesn't look like any 'FD win' to me.

The timeline I read in the attached Stamford Advocate link has "Fotis in New York" at midnight. I have not been able to find any other source for the exact time. Maybe they don't have the actual time and tagged the 26th in general? MOO.

If that is correct, that is a very strange time of day to be approaching GF and the children, really any residence where you are not expected or invited. MOO

I do not agree that the negotiations have broken down, but I do agree that Coangelo is making clear to MT where she is headed if she doesn't begin speaking the whole truth. Let's not forget that she has demolished Dulos' so-called alibi and admitted the Alibi Scripts were fabricated. That is not a small thing. She may not be telling LE the entire truth, but she has not been thrown out the door. Yet. That last charge was as much a warning to MT as it was a message to Dulos. Cooperate fully or face more charges.

Another indicator that negotiations are still in play is that she was allowed to turn herself in on the new AW, with a bond set at a fifth of what Dulos was required to pay. The bond was set by the judge based upon Coangelo's recommendation, AND she was allowed to turn herself in the day after Dulos was arrested. Bowman received notice of MT's arrest in advance; Pattis was not afforded the same courtesy. Also, while every defendant may be escorted to their car by LE after court in CT, that most assuredly is not SOP in most places - unless specifically instructed to do so. Which leads me to the final indicator, and that is the speed and virtual silence of that last hearing. The lawyers do not want to put anything on the record, but I feel quite certain that the in-chambers discussion was much more candid. I wonder if that is where the discussion of the LE escort occurred, because it sure didn't occur on the record. All of these small things lead me to conclude negotiations are still occurring.

There is much more going on behind the scenes here than we know at present, but again, LE is not going to negotiate anything until MT tells the complete, unvarnished truth. Her well-experienced attorney is quite aware of that fact. but perhaps MT still thinks she can emerge from this case unscathed.(She can't). Neither party has yet walked away from the table IMO, but Coangelo is surely letting Bowman know he expects MT's fuzzy memory to improve. As one of my mentors was fond of saying, "time will tell."

Yes but it doesn't look like she's telling everything. Or telling the total truth.

I do believe there's a lot going on behind the scenes. There always is. However, you don't charge a co-defendant with additional charges when you're in the middle of negotiations unless they aren't going anywhere. And if they're not going anywhere, they've broken down.

I know that from first hand experience when it comes to things like family law contempt or sanctions actions.

I don't file anything when we are in the middle of working things out. And nor does opposing counsel. It defeats the purpose.

An example is I've been negotiating recently for a client who faced contempt for failure to pay support. They filed one and we got them to take it off calendar or it would be dismissed due to a technicality (no time waiver and t was continued without our consent).

So after that we have been negotiating in order to forestall another contempt and to modify support which is vastly higher than my client can pay. We made an offer for back pay and ongoing support. They came back with a grand more in on going support. Which is way too high. We said no, too high. They immediately filed a new contempt action.

That doesn't happen when things are being worked out. Not in my world.

I am getting tripped up with the language here. Need some help please.

Atty Weinstein made a number of discovery requests (think it was 5-6).

Atty Murray filed his objections to the discovery requests in list order.

Isn't the Judge here simply saying that as it relates to the Request for Production 4 and 5, that the Atty Murray objection is overruled? Meaning to me that FD has to comply with items 4 and 5?

To me this would mean that the scope of the discovery request made by Atty Weinstein is narrowed a bit but not that the Judge disallowed all the Atty Weinstein discovery requests.

I think the headline by the SA is misleading. I will go back to the documents and try to puzzle this out. But my recollection is that Atty Weinstein made 5-6 discovery requests in the original motion.

Interesting, I had one very quick glimpse of what I thought was a bead...I was thinking maybe a rosary but didnt think that would fit so tightly in her hand. Would these beads typically be smaller or larger than a rosary?

Legal Eagles...if FD placed the body in NY, how could CT get “permission” to search any of those locations?

Cooperation and collaboration with NY. They would work with the out of state jurisdiction in order to search the land.

If they need a search warrant they'd have to register it with NY. I did it with a subpoena once. Similar process. I had to hire an attorney in NY to register it and turn it into a NY subpoena.

I believe it's similar with a search warrant. But they'd have to get NY LE to execute it.

If MT told LE that she knows where JD’s body is but wants immunity from prosecution for her involvement, do you think they’d do it? Since LE has evidence that FD murdered JD and has no other evidence of MT’s involvement other than the tampering charge, with JDks body they could charge him with 1st degree murder.
