As I looked at the New Canaan Tax Records for Sturbridge Hill, I was struck by the date FD purchased the property. One month approximately after JD left him. This gives me a chill. Was he stalking her....seeing the kids when he shouldn't have....what the heck.

I didn't read very far back in the divorce documents before they were frozen, but I wonder when JD became aware that FD had this property. It must have been unsettling for her. He was 10 minutes from her second home in NC. I don't remember the address of the first.

He's really creepy, IMO!

I think it’s because the death of JD has exposed so many other related issues that are hard to investigate due to the subterfuge but have to be looked at the same time because they are so intertwined AND because NP plays ridiculous games based on his whims and so much time and effort has to be spent quelling the chaos that his diatribes on imaginary stories presents. The list of complications seems so long and so convoluted from reasons for killing her in the first place, people who may have helped in various ways related to money and hiding evidence, etc. I wish it were all resolved and they were in prison for good already but I can wait if it means the most solid, comprehensive case, prosecution, and as much justice as can be possible in this scenario where nothing can bring JD back so nothing ever could make everything alright again for her, her kids, her mom, and all those who love her. Just MOO.

Okay, @afitzy, since you brought it up, I will take "Throwing MT from the Train" to its logical conclusion. All very mathematical, FD and Mama A.'s diabolical endgame. Someone on Websleuths has already guessed that Mama A.'s job one is to protect the bail bond. Which means keeping MT from fleeing. And also keeping MT in a drugged stupor so she can't make any deals on her own. Perhaps MT had planned to visit her friend in NY to flee but that family friend brought MT right back to Mama? The Family closed ranks to make sure that Mama A's deal with the devil remains in place. In any case, rationally speaking, MT is a has-been so why be selfish when MT's daughter shows so much promise as an athlete? And with cash that Mama A will get from the sale of, say, 61 Sturbridge Hill, granddaughter will be well taken care of while MT is in prison. Oh, who could have foreseen such a tragic turn of events! Poor MT being put in jail for 25 to life after loyally sticking with FD's story throughout the trial and then taking the fall when the time comes, all in a drugged stupor. Can MT sacrifice herself for her daughter? Maybe after FD signs the deed to 61 Sturbridge Hill over to Mama A who will gladly keep it in the Family while they wait for the two lovebirds to do their time. And for real estate values to pick up again. Awww. MOO.

This is so awful. I feel for MT’s child. JD’s children have lost their loving mom who would and did do anything she could for them. MT’s child’s situation is terrible in a different way. MOO.

Yes, we could have a WS 'field trip' to do a full house 'inspection' of Sturbridge! This would include all walls, floors, ceilings, attics and full foundation along with the 2 driveways which were recently put down!

My guess is that the trade might take your picture suggestion seriously if FD and his 'alter ego' FORE Group don't cough up the dough and PAY THEM OR, is that part of some dastardly plan associated with 'winning' against GF along with the 2 'friend' loans on the property? I do hope that Atty. Weinstein is all over the 'friend' loans and that the paperwork exists to prove their existence as fraud charges and possible bank fraud charges would put FD/FORE into the cross hairs of the US Federal Courts who don't mess around IMO.

Well, surely, most people take a handheld ground-penetrating radar unit to check out the yard in a house they might buy. It seems only prudent since there could be undisclosed underground storage tank there and you’d want to know to avoid an environmental issue that could cost a great deal. It also seems wise to take a few soil cores just to be sure what kind of soil is there and if it’s likely good for suitable septic and drainage uses and if it was compacted properly so your expensive house doesn’t start to settle unevenly and lead to cracks in the foundations, walls, and more. That would be especially vital since organic materials meaning in this case things that were once alive decay and create voids in the soil, leading to uneven settlement and cracks, which would be especially problematic and likely in a newly placed patio. Actually, a concrete core from that area would be a good idea, too. Inadequate concrete could lead to a cracked and disintegrating patio. Yes, these things just seem like reasonable precautions for any prospective buyers of this house to me. MOO.

It took me awhile to understand the mentality of people like MT and Mama A but once you believe that people like them can exist and only care about "$$$$" the rest of the story virtually writes itself IMO.

IMO they live in a world where the only GOD is "$$$$". When the only thing you believe in is "$$$$" it makes doing all the things that they do without blinking an eye, which seem inexplicable to most regular folks, no issue to pull off and they do it over and over and over again.

Rug business. No problem. Make it sound exotic and give the impression of something 'rare' and 'unique' from the wilds of beautiful Patagonia. This beautiful rug can be yours for $329 delivered! Meanwhile, no details on country of origin exist on the rugs and further its not even clear that the product involves anything having to do with hides as it could be replicated with faux fibres. Better yet, start a side business moving other 'contraband' in with the rugs and take delivery of 'product' from Brazil, Mexico, Turkey and China etc. Not a bad way to fund a defence atty who is quite expensive IMO.

Not an issue about country of origin, we will simply post pictures of clear mountain springs and beautiful lakes and mountains and show the drama of the huge outdoor barbecue from Patagonia to make it all 'seem' that they rugs are from a place that is no doubt 5,000 miles or more from where the rugs actually are from. There is a sucker born every minute and no doubt this company will find many such suckers IMO.

Cash flow issues in the psych practice from Mama A. Again, No Hay Problema, just find a bunch of cabbies, pay them cash to bring you patients and all you have to do is BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL the US Govt for all those folks that are coming to visit. Get caught up in Medicare fraud investigations in FL. Again, No Problema for Mama A, just move your law firm into your offices and claim privilege. IMO Mama A saw Medicare fraud all around her in Southern FL and she just decided that she just had to get her some and so she did and she executed it flawlessly. Thing is though, she got caught and lost her license. Did this necessarily stop Mama A.? My guess would be no, she just moved on to Plan B, C, D and E.

Just hope she has stockpiled a lot of cash as my guess is that there is little way her cash stolen for Medicare will stack up against the collective coffers of the Farber clan who have the potential to simply bury MT in litigation for years. IMO if Mama were smart, she would cash her ticket with the State for a deal, but it doesn't look like Mama A and MT have done this yet. My guess is that it might be a limited time offer and MT ain't getting any younger and at a certain point no amt of money paid to a Brazilian plastic surgeon will be able to fix things!

Its an endless cycle for people like this and FD and all the ethically challenged friends around are IMO no different. He and these people will just move on to the next thing and not bat an eye.

We could joke about Sturbridge all day long, issue is though that the sale of Sturbridge and the FORE real estate represents GF's primary means of repayment for the civil suit.

Issue is that even though GF has the $500,000 pretrial judgment on Sturbridge it looks like FD/FORE stacked the friend loans and trade up against her such that its not clear she will get much from the sale unfortunately.

FD/FORE has no doubt ransacked the cash and converted it to other assets or bitcoin so the likelihood of her collecting on any eventual judgment absent firesale of the real estate is unlikely too. I've said it before but I'll say it again, I simply don't get the FO definition of 'winning'?

Yes, 44/45 yo. with a 13 yo daughter, single mother and looking at possibly 10+ years in CT prison.

Would miss both HS and most likely college graduation and even possibly a wedding due to prison, and possibly more if additional charges are filed and she is convicted by a jury.

Prove other wise. destruction of evidence is a crime. I guess losing files is accidental.

I am in complete agreement. Losing files should be a crime, too-a legitimate business doesn’t lose their files in a move. They.Just.Don’t. Legal professionals know what they are doing, and that stuff doesn’t just get lost. Markowitz is going to destroy that stuff, if he hasn’t already, but he is not going to produce it. This is how you’ll know how widespread the “disease” is-whoever doesn’t or “can’t” cooperate is involved in some way, either in the financial crimes, or with Jennifer’s death and disappearance.

I am not very caught up from earlier this week, so I apologize if this has already been replied to in full. When I personally started putting the pieces together back in August about Patagonia Styles (not claiming to be the only one), it was as a result of finding her sister Daniella, with the seal shoe cover business, now selling rugs on FB marketplace that were "Patagonia Style Designer Rugs" (see attachment).

Could the word 'style' be a spelling error for 'styles'? Sure. But when the home industry uses the word 'style' as a descriptive...it's usually not a reference to the COO (Country of Origin) and doesn't necessarily mean that the rugs are imported from the Patagonia area. When 'style' is used, it's more often used in terms of likeness of origin, rather than actual origin. IMO, as a 21 year veteran of importing Home Furnishings, including hides from both China and India, it's certainly possible that MT's rugs are imported from the Patagonia region, though the pricing could just as easily be from the US, Brazil, or Asia. It all depends on the profit margin they're seeking. MT's sister is selling the rugs at a $389 price point.

As a point of reference, I replaced my 6'x9' entry way cowhide rug with a new one in February 2019 for $120 wholesale (bought at the NY Now Show from Chesterfield, a PA based Company importing cowhides from Brazil-see chesterfieldleather.com for reference). The same rug I bought in February would be about $60 wholesale from India (landed), and even less from China. Would it surprise me if MT was romancing her cowhides as being Patagonia 'style' cowhides and marketing them as such while actually importing them from China or India for the highest margin? Not even for a second. IMO, her rugs are nothing special in the existing market, so I hope that she just has a connection in the Patagonia area and is just blind to the market that already exists amongst US importers (because her pricing is too high to be competitive or pave a new road...and even if the pricing appeals to the average consumer who may or may not reach her private instagram account to buy them, or her sisters FB marketplace offering-even Ikea sells the same rugs at retail for $169, even less from Amazon). So it's either a shady business, it's a BS business to give her and her sister something to do, or it's simply a business that she knows very little about and thinks her 110 or so private Instagram followers and word-of-mouth customers will provide a 'get rich scheme' for her and her family, IMO.

To make a long story, longer, lol,...once I started putting the pieces together and accessed her once public instagram account, I found it to be more active since her arrest than prior to. I watched it and thought that with her and FD following each other, it was a very easy way to evade LE and stay under the radar. In the days leading up to September 8th (when I reported the account to LE), she was showing less about rugs and more about local CT locations and times (3:15pm became more prevalent) and possibly using the account to send 'inside' messages. As I've already said here, less than 24 hours after reporting the account and back-up documentation to LE, @PatagoniaStyles, a business, was now private. IMO, it's a total sham. At best, it was a business to give her a purpose and connect her to other locals. It has nothing to do with her previous 20 years of business experience...so you be the judge. An escape from FD? Possibly. An 'honest' business her baby daddy could understand, maybe? I think since her arrest, it has served as a shelter for her to communicate with FD (and her daughter and extended family) to appear legit. MOO

Forgive me for being thick-what likely made her switch her instagram account to “ private”? Was she reading here about it, or was she informed in another way that there was speculation about her account, and its possible function as a way to communicate with FD?
