ITA...But, if we were to talk with MT, am sure that FD told her the marriage has been over for a long time...we're just staying together for the kids...the kids will be going to school in New Canaan...she'll be living at her parents...blah, blah, blah. The problem I see here is that MT believed him!!!!

That story is so old. Did his "friends" he worked with and she worked with support this silliness? Is she just naïve or looking for a sugar daddy? I think the latter is the winner here. FD appeared to wealthy, he traveled with his kids, he showered MT and her family with words and attention.

The real disconnect is the move to Connecticut...the promise of a job...bringing her daughter to school in CT. (Was last school term the first or second for her at EW?) It appears MT's daughter's bio dad supported the daughter at the new school in terms of visiting and donating to fundraising efforts. Wonder if he even stayed at 4 JeffersonX, too?

FD probably had some tale about JD fighting him when he just came to talk to her on May 24th. She fell. He had to do something or he would be blamed. MT needed to help him. The same with the EE. Fotis tells him not to tell Michi about the seat exchange in a conversation that could be construed to implicate EE. FD is so thoughtful he pulled in one, maybe two, innocent people to help cover his tracks.

The kids are the real victims beyond JD. None of them...MT's or FD's will leave this event without permanent scars about trust and perhaps security. And, I think family court's hands are temporarily tied, unless FD is charged with murder or the disappearance of JD.

My guess is that a WhatsApp group chat or any of the encrypted options would be virtually untraceable by LE. Given FD less than impressive tech skills my guess would be that MT might have set it all up before the two were separated by the legal system.

The other question I have for the States Atty is why are MT and FD both permitted to be on social media while out on bail/bond and possibly following each other and/or communicating? Wouldn't such a circumstance be a violation of the no contact order? This would apply to very basic sites such as Facebook and Instagram that are not at all difficult to search.

I still am puzzling as to Atty B's request. The real question is posed to the small insider circle of criminal defense attorneys practicing in CT. Can any crim defense attorney continue to practice in the small state of CT after sending LE on a $600,000 wild goose chase with, it appears, no body, no weapon and no murder charges and multiple searches including officers hand picking through 1 inch pieces of garbage with cadaver dogs; sending divers in multiple bodies of water all over the state? All on belief that a plea deal is in the works because of the reputation of the old crony crim defense attorney? Can only imagine that this is the last, last, cross my heart hope to die, last iteration of the game. MOO.

Absolutely agree with you here. To the extent that Atty. B was operating in good faith with LE to obtain a deal and then had his client lying to same LE for over 3 months and LE then had to use directed questioning to 'extract' basic facts from CCTV, IMO its hard not to believe that Atty. B and MT were never on the same page. The impact of Mama A. on the direction of the MT legal defence (such as it is) is unknown but doesn't seem to have shifted MT in the direction of any deal with the State based on the optics of what we have watched play out.

Atty. B was himself a prosecutor for over 16 yrs I believe, and so well knows how these things are managed with the State. I'm guessing that when AW2 dropped that both Atty. B and MT were at best 'deflated'. If Atty. B finds himself unable to work with the tag team MT and Mama A., then I wonder how long he might stick this situation out. I've been hoping that MT might have had her eye (or Mama A. had her eye) on the Berreth case and saw the impact of being a cooperating witness in a murder case and this might have an impact on their process of working with the State? IDK.

Maybe the tide has turned and perhaps that is why Atty. B. asked for the most recent hearing? IDK. Perhaps he will ask the court to resign the representation of MT? IDK, but he has to be frustrated with the overall situation. Maybe he will ask to discuss the MT deposition situation in Civil Court? IDK. Atty. B and MT are juggling many issues in multiple courtrooms and if more charges are filed then things become even more complicated IMO.

But given the little we do know from AW2, other charges against MT might have been possible and they weren't added, YET. I wonder how long the State will hang in the wind with MT and ditto for Atty. B? Maybe we will find out at the next hearing?

IDK but I keep waiting for MT to simply 'wake up' or 'grow up' or 'something up' and she has turned into a nothing burger as she has seemed to stay on track with the ludicris 'alibi script' nonsense even after it was discovered by LE! Who would do that?

You think there actually might be some 'depth' here with MT and FD?

From everything that we have seen so far it seems like MT has the 'depth' of a raindrop.

What are you seeing about the situation that is different? I'm curious because perhaps it could explain why MT packed up the tent with her daughter and moved to CT to share a house with a guy whose wife just ditched him...

We don't know if MT was served notice by anyone involved with the case as to the court decision about her presence. I think we had heard from @gitana1 many threads ago on this topic and I think what we were told was that it would be FD responsibility to address the situation with MT and not the courts responsibility.

But, I do think what is disappointing about the entire situation with MT and her daughter was that the violations of the courts order were allegedly found out via the use of a PI and NOT the GAL Meehan or any court appointed advisor. The older children were put in the psychologically damaging position of lying to JD by FD and MT. It sounded like a horrific situation for the children and JD and seemed to represent a new 'low point' of many such 'low points' in the family court tragedy.

I can see FD lying to MT but to do so for over 8 months and to lose access to his children too during this period? Maybe your theory could explain why this period went on so long? Maybe he didn't tell her about the court ordered therapy and parenting classes too?

I have my doubts as no doubt FO was over the moon angry about the situation and wanted someone to vent to about the evil attys and PI's of JD team who were making his life with MT impossible. I also wonder if he would spin the narrative to drag MT into the mix and make it seem that it was the 'two of them against the world of JD and then GF'?

The head games possible in the scenario between FD and MT seem endless. I just wonder why she stayed as long as she did? Why vest so much time in a situation that was nowhere near even being able to go to trial? Also, after we heard about the big Easter celebration and reports of MT sisters coming to CT to visit, you have to wonder why the Arrezea/Troconis clan seemed to embrace the relationship too? Did none of them see through the FD facade? Or did they just see the house and cars and assorted 'stuff' and were happy for their sister? Wonder what they might be thinking now?

Why wasn't MT fed up and angry about the divorce dragging? Did she know about all the games FD was playing in Family Court to simply waste time and prolong the situation and ditto for his antics with KM in Civil Court? Did MT understand what was going on or did she know and simply didn't care so long as the green kept rolling and the trips kept happening?

I'm just really curious about this whole line of inquiry.

Just seems that you could dig and dig and dig and keep digging all the way to China with FD and MT and simply find there is nothing there.

There is that Dr Suess quote that I think is, "...Not here not there not anywhere"... that kind of reminds me of the fundamental emptiness of MT and FD.

But I'm really very curious about alternative theories on these two folks!
