Absolutely agree with you here. To the extent that Atty. B was operating in good faith with LE to obtain a deal and then had his client lying to same LE for over 3 months and LE then had to use directed questioning to 'extract' basic facts from CCTV, IMO its hard not to believe that Atty. B and MT were never on the same page. The impact of Mama A. on the direction of the MT legal defence (such as it is) is unknown but doesn't seem to have shifted MT in the direction of any deal with the State based on the optics of what we have watched play out.

Atty. B was himself a prosecutor for over 16 yrs I believe, and so well knows how these things are managed with the State. I'm guessing that when AW2 dropped that both Atty. B and MT were at best 'deflated'. If Atty. B finds himself unable to work with the tag team MT and Mama A., then I wonder how long he might stick this situation out. I've been hoping that MT might have had her eye (or Mama A. had her eye) on the Berreth case and saw the impact of being a cooperating witness in a murder case and this might have an impact on their process of working with the State? IDK.

Maybe the tide has turned and perhaps that is why Atty. B. asked for the most recent hearing? IDK. Perhaps he will ask the court to resign the representation of MT? IDK, but he has to be frustrated with the overall situation. Maybe he will ask to discuss the MT deposition situation in Civil Court? IDK. Atty. B and MT are juggling many issues in multiple courtrooms and if more charges are filed then things become even more complicated IMO.

But given the little we do know from AW2, other charges against MT might have been possible and they weren't added, YET. I wonder how long the State will hang in the wind with MT and ditto for Atty. B? Maybe we will find out at the next hearing?

IDK but I keep waiting for MT to simply 'wake up' or 'grow up' or 'something up' and she has turned into a nothing burger as she has seemed to stay on track with the ludicris 'alibi script' nonsense even after it was discovered by LE! Who would do that?

I am no fan of MT at all times 10000000 and this is NOT in support of her and DEFINITELY NOT in any way disagreeing with what you wrote here; it is just my thought about the case overall: How is it that at every juncture, the parts of this case that center on MT, FD, and NP consistently reveal such reprehensible, offensive, arrogant, and purposefully ignorant attitudes and behaviors (and I mean THEIRS, not just people who concur with them)? I am aghast and that’s an understatement. They have all had access to good educations and many benefits in life and still they are like this? I do not understand it.

And then, on the other side of the spectrum, we have JD, who has unfailingly been described by everyone other than FD/NP (see above on them) as kind, sweet, caring, gentle, and thoughtful, even though in this world, it is true that someone as beautiful, smart, and rich as she was could have been otherwise if she wished with few repercussions. If it weren’t for the light shone by the attitudes and behaviors of JD, her kids, GF, and her friends and supporters, this entire case would be a black hole of humanity’s despair. I can’t entirely decide if the juxtaposition of JD’s kind, loving spirit against the unconscionable cruelty of FD/MT/NP is a much-needed reminder of the good in the world still or if it makes this all even sadder. Both, I think. All of this is my opinion, of course.

I think of her every day And her children. I wish she were alive. And I wish she was my friend.

Was the 5 minute Dr. Oz follow up from Oct 1 discussed? If not, I found it interesting that one of the people said that family courts are not equipped to deal with narcissistic parents like FD. They also showed a clip of all of the horrible things NP has said and they commented as to why anyone/FD would hire a person who could bad mouth his missing/possibly dead wife and the mother of his 5 children. They showed the clip of NP talking about Christmas morning where FD smirks.

My narcissistic ex wooed the court also.

A narcissist doesn't do much by accident. The sweeping. What was he up to? Just posing innocently for the cameras? Nothing to see here, Folks? My wife is missing, I'm sweeping. Normal, normal. Was the something in his sightline he was monitoring? Was there something significant happening inside or outside and he was providing photographic diversion? You suppose he EVER picked up a broom while married? What do we make of his sudden attention to domestic detail?

Agreed that it was a stash and dash. Would FD choose a random construction site or would he prefer a location that was familiar (i.e. knew of a back way to drive in without cameras installed or knowledge that owners were away in Europe etc...)? FD would be very familiar with a property he successfully sold 5/17 for $5.2 mm (?), 183 Hemlock Hill Rd, New Canaan.

"Fotis Dulos allegedly defaulted on a $1.5 million loan to purchase 183 Hemlock Hill Road in New Canaan in 2016, when he sold the property but only paid back $500,000, according to the plaintiffs’ attorneys."

Wonder if Atty Weinstein was able to subpoena Markowitz and Mawhinney's records on the conveyance? RPC require record retention for 7 years, correct? MM would have had/still have an escrow account at a bank. The FORE operating account wired the $1mm that FD "stole" to...NY Attorney? Who is this NY Attorney? How did FD get access to foreign wire capabilities? Peoples shouldn't be sending foreign wires at the local Farmington branch, unless I'm missing something here. Foreign wires above a certain dollar threshold are reviewed by bank AML officers. FD couldn't even get a loan at Big Bank with connections. But perhaps FIL set up one account for the funding (and could monitor through "relationships") and FD got a private banker assigned to help him "invest" when he was still with JD. You bet that if LE doesn't have that info by now, something is rotten in the state of Denmark...going all the way up the food chain, and I'm sorry to say, the top of the food chain, they too live in New Canaan, Westchester. Hmmm. MOO.

Markowitz and Mawhinney 'dissolved' their law practice and now Markowitz is claiming that files cannot be easily found and given to Weinstein due to the move etc. Clearly many games are ongoing on Weinstein is working hard to get the files but the roadblocks are sadly many and the courts don't seem to be taking any steps to safeguard the file evidence either which IMO is disappointing. MOO

Yes, the gag order 'issue' was cited by Bowman and Weinstein in the last motions in Civil Court related to MT deposition which is still unresolved. But I thought the larger issue for Bowman was potential for more criminal charges coming out of her deposition in Civil Court. Perhaps the 'gag order' is being used as the excuse here to yet again prevent the MT deposition in civil court? I had thought that Bowman and Weinstein had both agreed that sealing the deposition would solve the issues but perhaps not. Curious to see what exactly Bowman cites as being the 'issue' today. MOO

Dulos will appear at 10 a.m. One twist though: Oral arguments on a motion to dismiss the court were scheduled for today, but Dulos’ attorney Norm Pattis is not expected to be here (he supposedly has a sentencing elsewhere in the state).

Getting started a little late in Stamford. While media is waiting outside for Dulos to show up State’s Attorney Richard Colangelo and attorney Kevin Smith are meeting in closed courtroom and Colangelo handed him a large packet of documents and computer disks.

I’m assuming that the packet is a lot of the discovery evidence that Dulos’ attorneys have been seeking including phone records, interviews and possibly some of video evidence state police have amassed.
