The woman is apparently part of the bond arrangement to monitor Fd.
Yes she gave him money for the bond but she is emotionally invested in him as well. It's not her "job" so to speak

We are waiting to hear #FotisDulos's condition. Depending on his diagnosis, it is possible we could see a competency hearing. Under CT Gen. Stat. 54-56(d), "a defendant is not competent if he is unable to understand the proceedings against him or to assist in his own defense."

WOW! Great point - I hadn't thought of that as an angle.

Here is the procedure laid out in the statute: https://www.cga.ct.gov/current/pub/chap_960.htm#sec_54-56d …

Womder if FD has health insurance for himself.....since he couldn't even pay it for his children. His hospital bill is going to be something compared to JFd's blood work...maybe FD needed his psych report open to the court.

Wondering why Fotis Dulos isn't headed to the hyperbaric chamber at Bridgeport Hospital?

Media coordinator John Cappiello tells me that the #Bridgeport Hospital hyperbaric chamber is "strickly for wound healing, so we don't expect him here."
According to the Courant:

Dave Altimari‏ @davealtimari
Fotis Dulos is being airlifted to the Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx for their hyperbaric chamber.

FD appears to have tried to commit suicide

He never should have been given a bond. He knew it was all tumbling down and, being the coward he is (was?), refused to face the consequences of his actions. Should he survive, I cannot imagine any judge releasing him again. He is too much of a risk to himself and others.
I agree that he should never have been released on bond...but if he does live through this I think he will be somewhat of a vegetable.

If true, he’s a vegetable.

It depends how bad the brain damage was.

I have a friend in Lyme whose brother was diabetic and did not take his condition seriously enough and ended up in a coma for months. In that state the body is still on auto pilot but the brain is not functioning cognitively. If he is in a coma who would make a decision to pull the plug? His family in Greece?

Headed to the Bronx? Wish Gloria was his power of attorney, pull the plug quick.

Good question. I suppose they could be law enforcement, or hospital personnel.

I’m leaning law enforcement though.
FD is still on house arrest -- I'm pretty sure they are state police. MOO

wonder if the lady went to his house and told him his bond was likely to be revoked and that's when he did it? I need to get clear on the timeline
This makes sense to me. But, then what did he do scribble out a quick suicide note, or was it a longer one...?

Live News Ch 3:

Possibly being transported to a hospital in NY not to Bridgeport Hospital bc their hyperbolic chamber is only used for wound healing
