A
I realise this process but I was questioning why Atty. P. let the bond application be made the way it was by Fd when they were well aware of the financial status of the properties. These aren't new foreclosure actions. Sturbridge has been in foreclosure for at least a month and 4Jx for at least 6 months if I recall. Not new news. This wasn't an issue of mortgage documents not being filed or legal databases or even town databases not being updated. There really is very little new new on the Fd financial front as the implosion has been going on now for quite awhile.

Using your mortgage fraud analogy, here we have 2 parties (Fd and Atty. P.) effectively signing off on a mortgage application known to be false. It was clear from the comments were heard in Stamford as the bail drama was ongoing that Atty. P. and Atty Smith were quite involved with the negotiations for the bond and wouldn't this imply knowledge of the proceedings? Simply seems odd that anyone would think inclusion of properties in foreclosure would represent acceptable collateral. Did Atty. P. know and approve this application? Or, didn't he care if the bond company took what Fd gave them in terms of information? IDK. Seems an odd way to run a collaterally oriented business where a large bond is at stake.

I really wonder if he used 4Jx as part of the collateral as I don't believe he has any ownership interest in that property at this point.

according to the NYT

“Specifically, the bond was secured by six pieces of real estate – two of which it had been determined were subject to foreclosure and a third was found to have been substantially overvalued.”

Doesn't carbon monoxide poisoning make your skin bright red? He doesn't look bright red in the Daily Mail photos.
In seeing a photo posted I thought his lips looked rosy, which I took to be healthy. Later on in post someone stated that rosy was a side effect of CMP.

585 Deercliffe I think.
Are police still there?
I haven't seen anything about it at all in MSM.
Or did I miss it?

Nobody. The house is an old style rambler from the 70s with an attached garage and I believe and has been unused and abandoned for a number of years. The property isn't maintained really in terms of grass cutting and tree trimming based on the pictures we have previously seen here.

Fd used the garage at 585 DC to store things for his business, FORE Group. He also stored his FORE trailer on the property and we saw recently that EE stored his dirt bike at the property to.

We haven't seen recent pics of 585 DC but I have no reason to believe much has changed. If you have access to google earth or search here on WS, the property has been discussed in depth.

MOO
And police are there now?
Are the media there?
Can someone please post the article or tell me how to find it?
Thanks.

Seriously, how dumb/insecure do you have to be to get in a relationship with a guy who has been accused of murder?????????? I'm flabbergasted.

I'd say it was for money purposes, but after seeing the arrest warrant think we all know he was in debt up to his eye balls.

I'm always flabbergasted when you learn of all the murderers who have the love letters coming left and right to them in prison.....

Dave Altimari (@davealtimari) on Twitter
....
There will be a bond hearing tomorrow in Dulos case even though he will not be present. He will have a new bondsman Ira Judelson, known for bailing out high-profile clients. His latest is Harvey Weinstein. Judelson said tonight he is prepared to cover all $7 million if necessary.

......You would think his bail would be revoked considering suicide attempt...amongst other things. Edited to add tweet snippet

Except a defense attorney's job is to be familiar with the State's "bond schedule" and do his best in court to argue the lowest bond amount -- NOT to get involved in the bond application to secure his clients bond. That poses a conflict of interest on many fronts! (Not saying that NP had zero knowledge of the shade but he certainly knows enough not to expose himself-- not even for FD).

In FD's case -- he (via his attorney NP) will certainly go forward and try to sell the court that his client was reliant on the broker he hired to put together a credible collateral package and obtain current real estate appraisals, etc. FD will claim he did not produce and/or sign the appraisals, and cannot be held responsible for the wildly overstated values.

We know how FD works, he's accustomed to paying whatever it takes to get his way. He knowingly gambled on his first try-- all the time aware that he would have to come up with an additional, non-refundable bond premium to try to stay out of jail.

I seriously doubt that the court will give him a do-over and hope the Judge raises his bond to $25 million to end his charade. MOO

ETA: I think FD really had no intention of securing another bond, ever -- since he was going to be dead.

I’m so far behind in here, I don’t know if you’ve all discussed this already, but do you think he wanted to be found alive? Otherwise why wouldn’t he have done this overnight, in the middle of the night? Or was this just spur of the moment this morning?? MOO
Ok so I’m replying to my own message. Reading in here, you are all AMAZING, it seems that FD and NP were advised at 9am this morning that FD’s bond was going to be revoked? More than likely he was going to jail today? But.... did NP have another bondsman poised & ready to bond him? For the $6 mil? That seems unlikely. MOO and T so much! IA
