If they had part of FD's retainer fee left in their escrow accounts, they'd be debtors--they'd owe it back to the estate, like NP did.

I don’t think any of these crooks will pony up the information that they have money in escrow; I think they’ll wait until it comes up in a financial “biopsy”-

Administrator Hug should've done his due diligence and looked at all those lawyers' accounts. The public should have access to the file under the First Amendment. Though regular courts are closed, we have access to most civil and criminal case filings online, but the probate courts put very minimal info online--just name of the administrator. We only get info on hearings if a journalist attends, it seems.

Wow, I haven’t been here for a long time. I cannot believe this case has still not been settled. It’s terrible to know that Jennifer’s family is still having to live in this Hell that Fotis created and so cowardly escaped from. His evilness is still felt from the grave. I pray Jennifer’s family has been well and is learning to live without their daughter, mother and lastly, their father. Some people are so selfish and don’t care how their actions affect others. Obviously, most people here have moved on, including myself, but it’s good to see your continued interest and updates. Thank you.

it depends on the fee agreement IMO - some retainers are not refundable if unused.

Heard on msm that KM is going to testify against MT? Did I miss something?

I hope he did; I would like to think that Hug dug pretty deeply, but I don’t trust him any more than I trust all of the other lawyers. Right now Weinstein is the only one I really trust at all, and I’m not even sure about him. The finances are so fouled up, that it makes me wonder if the assets belonging to the estate can be found. There seemed to be so much money laundering between fD and FORE Co, and his attorneys that I doubt it. Maybe if everybody got a regular check, but I wonder if fD would have done it that conventional way while JFD was still alive, and while they were still in the middle of a nasty divorce. He could have done some kind of “quid pro quo” in exchange for some legal services-not a great idea, but since most of the money originated with the Farber family, I could see it.

I've always questioned Hugg as the Administrator. He's clearly demonstrated that he had personal interests in this estate. There's nothing pure when it comes to Dulos. MOO

Pattis tried that argument, but still had to give a lot of it back to the estate.

I wonder if there will be another “oooh, look how great I am” instagram posts before MT’s upcoming court date?

Wonder what the topic will be? MT has tried children with special needs, church, finishing 3rd in a water ski event with 3 competitors, her child, church, horses, rhythmic gymnastics (during the Olympics,) are we due for more church???

Jennifer can't post pictures of her children, her travels, her friends, her sister, her mother, her pets, her faith life.

Michelle Troconis should stop stonewalling & start telling the truth.

Actually, I'd much rather have Kent Mawhinney do that!

MT could be honest and explain the information found here:

Arrest warrants for Fotis Dulos, Michelle Troconis, Kent Mawhinney

I won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen. I hope Kent Mawhinney does the explaining!

Or another Condor suicide-like post, coffee with hearts, beds of flowers. Right now I sense she's living her best life in Miami, or trying so hard to find that one you-tube video how to remove the bracelet to flee. I myself would love to see KM tell the truth, the whole, truth and nothing but the truth. Because these two KNOW the truth.

Of the great financial mysteries to which we'll probably never hear the answer is where did the funds used to pay for FD's intial and ongoing legal fees originate? The same regarding the final $250K defense deposit?

FD couldn't afford bail 2-weeks prior to the $250K final fee paid Pattis. THEN, he had the money. Where were these funds? Who paid them? Did (does) FD have funds stashed off shore or in Greece?

Maybe those questions were asked and answered, but the public certainly does not have the answers.

The court never disclosed who initially cleaned out FD's safety deposit box either.

SMH...IMO...MOO

Counting the days to MT's pre-trial hearing....again.

We can only wish for a journalist who would go in to the Probate Court and look at the file, then report on what was found? Rather than only going to a hearing now and then? CT now says PCs are closed due to Covid. And very minimal info posted online. What happened to the First Amendment access to the courts? Court secrecy is right up the CT Judicial Branch's alley.

Is that a flirtatious glance toward Atty Bowman??? While fD was still around, before he took a coward's way out?

Thanks for finding these gems Pernickety. You're among our great legal sleuths on this case.

I love the fact that the "estate" is probably also paying Robinson and Cole as they represent Hug. Such a slimy legal mess....and financial jackpot for the attorneys involved. Of course, there will be nothing left for the kids. o_O:mad:

There was never going to be anything left for the kids, I think. And people like this always find a way for somebody else to pay for the massive legal bills.

True....but, bless Weinstein....He, at least, kept the focus of who should really inherit any "leftovers" to the front of the discussion.
