which article? The article I read said FS was in Mass on 5/24 but didn't read where it says they talked on the day of KM's arrest.

The one I read said this:

"Police did not find any calls between Fotis Dulos and Statovci, the warrant said. Police were also investigating two men who listed their address as a property belonging to Statovci, the warrant showed.

The phone records of one of the men was the target of the search warrant obtained Jan. 14, 2020, court records show. A phone number associated with the men called Statovci’s phone on the day Jennifer Dulos disappeared, the search warrant said.

Statovci’s phone records indicated his cellphone was in Massachusetts on the day of the disappearance, according to the warrant. When asked Monday, Statovci denied knowing the two men named in the search warrant."

"The search warrant also showed police tried to reach Mawhinney 23 times on Jan. 7, 2020 to get him to turn himself in on the conspiracy to commit murder charge.

I could be very wrong, but I took the "phone associated with the men" as the before-mentioned "two men who listed their address" at a property owned by FS?

I don't buy it that FS doesn't know these men. Also not buying that FS didn't speak to KM again after his arrest...and if that IS the truth, then it's completely sketchy given how far back KM and FS were associated (you can look up that info on the ct judicial website because I don't think it can be posted here). IMO

Mea culpa. You're right--it doesn't say KM was on the phone with FS on the day of KM's arrest. It doesn't say who he was on the phone with then. They must know, right? He was arrested in Tolland, (near Mass border). It does say on day of JFD's disappearance there were calls between FD & KM, then between KM and FS. Says FS's phone was in Mass on date of disappearance.

My mind is fuzzy being so long ago. I do remember early on that someone speculated that FS might be a member of the Albanian Mob. There was also a photo floating around of FS and others (can't remember if fD was in the picture), all gathered around at some restaurant in Farmington maybe.. If this is true, that is a scary thought.

Yes, it has been been moved quite a bit - in my notes since Feb.

2/4/21 Update: Still awaiting plea. Plea hearing moved to 2/24/21. 2/24/21 Update: Plea hearing continued to 4/6/21. 4/6/21 Update: Plea hearing was rescheduled to 6/15/21. 6/15/21 Update: Plea hearing moved to 7/20/21. 7/20/21 Update: Plea hearing rescheduled on 7/23/21.

FS is Serbian though I don't know anything about CT mobs! I think you're recalling the pic with FS, KM, and CH that was once public...and no longer there as of Monday? I know I must have a ss of it buried somewhere, though it's not really main thread approved so it may not see the light of day anytime soon and maybe that's for the best...

I don't think I've seen it. He has a lot of pics with a lot of guys at tables. Scary how much he resembles FD in some of them . Perhaps another reason behind FD's shaved head on May 24th? FD could really confuse LE between EE and FS, or so he thought
