Wonder if it was the prosecutors or NP and Smith who dropped the case....if the Nolle Pros is correct.

(Nolle prosequi (abbreviated nol. pros.) is a Latin phrase, which directly translates to “not to wish to prosecute.” Nolle prosequi is a legal notice or entry of record that the prosecutor or plaintiff has decided to abandon the prosecution or lawsuit.)

My thought is that P & S both declined to testify. Wonder if it had to do with the probate agreement not to talk about the case? Or else--the more attention given to it, the more kooks out there might try to do what AD did.

"while judges must approve a nolle pros, the request must come from the prosecutor"

So, either NP & KS declined to testify, or chose to cite their 40 year gag agreement.

But, since this is a court I would expect they could testify.

The taxpayers of Connecticut should be glad.

If this narrows, focuses, speeds, hastens, facilitates, or in any other way gets us closer to court action for Michelle Troconis & Kent Mawhinney, I'm glad!

I'm not sure. I've seen cases where the judge in a criminal case feels it's appropriate to combine the case of multiple defendants when their charges involve the same set of circumstances, so maybe this is the case. Efficiency. I'm sure it's no coincidence that the two pre-trials relating to one case are scheduled on the same day (now). Let's see what time they post for KM's case. If it's 10:00 a.m (MT's court time), I'm guessing this is the what's happening.

I've also wondered if Judge White is going to take over the pre-trial hearings as Judge Blawie suggested this past spring.

I would hate to think that the co-conspirators have reached a "deal" with the prosecution. Efficiency would be a good outcome.

When will there be Justice For Jennifer!? I think of her kids and her mom a lot. I can't even begin to imagine what they have already been through, plus everything that's left to come yet. Since FD took the easy way out, I sure hope the other 2 involved parties are held responsible for their actions and punished/sentenced appropriately!
