This is definitely the time of year she is in Colorado.

The longer the trial, etc. is delayed the more mature her daughter becomes, IMO.

She should be grateful (but she’s not) that she gets to raise her daughter, unlike Jennifer. Why is MT’s daughter more precious and important than Jennifer’s 5 children? I’ve about had it with the Connecticut judicial system. I want MT to get as much time in prison as possible-her daughter would be better off with her father full time. The sooner, the better

I liked that the judge is giving the State's Attorney some space in giving Schoenhorn what he wants. Also, the State's Attorney said the motion should have been filed in Stamford Court...Hmmmm. (Schoenhorn won't care...he wants what he wants....)

I had to chuckle when JS indicated he needed the information to prepare for trial. What a joke...he just wants to use it for pre-trial publicity in hopes it never gets to trial.

From the article above....Hartford judge orders prosecutor to respond to Michelle Troconis’ attorney

Schoenhorn contends he has a right to nearly all evidence in the domestic violence cases as he prepares to take his client’s case to trial. “I’m not asking for anything that isn’t being turned over to Mr. Mawhinney’s attorney,” Schoenhorn said.

Walcott told Seeley that she felt Schoenhorn should have filed his motion in Stamford Superior Court where the conspiracy to commit murder cases are proceeding.

But Walcott conceded that by law, Schoenhorn had a right to any documents or indication that a deal had been struck in her cases to gain Mawhinney’s cooperation in the case against Troconis.

“Of course, they should be turned over,” Walcott said.

And, my favorite quote is bolded, because I seriously doubt he's opened much the evidence already given to him....IMO...MOO
Schoenhorn's mandamus case against the court reporter to get transcript of that sealed part of the Dulos divorce case re the custody report was dismissed 1//21. Odd--the judgment of dismissal isn't accessible online--at least it isn't from my computer.

@sds71 - so was there a plea on KM's assault case? And anything new on the violation charge? Any "new" hearings for either one?

Yes--but that's not a decision. That's a judgment. I'd like to read the decision that the judgment is based on.

Maybe Lisa Backus would know. If not, she could just call John.

I just looked again and found the decision granting def's motion to dismiss up above in the case detail. Still IMO there should've been a motion for the judgment to be made final by def. Somehow I feel we haven't heard the last from JS on this one.

Of course we haven’t…and I will bet that he also demands, once again, to have that pesky GPS monitor removed because this is taking so long (because HE isn’t ready!)

Pesky GPS monitor doesn't seem to be keeping Michelle Troconis in Connecticut. IMHO.

She is anywhere BUT in Connecticut, in spite of her strong ties!

CT’s top prosecutor denies wrongdoing as hiring probe continues

Connecticut Chief State’s Attorney Richard Colangelo has denied wrongdoing after emails show he sought raises for his office “to keep them happy so they don’t oppose me at reappointment.”

Connecticut’s top prosecutor has denied accusations of wrongdoing as an investigation continues into whether he hired the daughter of a former key state budget official to get his deputies raises as a way to shore up support for his reappointment.

Chief State’s Attorney Richard Colangelo Jr. is under investigation for the hiring as emails have surfaced that he sent to Konstantinos Diamantis, a former top state budget official who has since retired, seeking raises for prosecutors with supervisory roles within his office, according to documents obtained by Hearst Connecticut Media Group.

Around the time the emails were sent, Colangelo hired Diamantis’ daughter, Anastasia, for a $99,000 administrative job in his office, the documents show.

Gov. Ned Lamont ordered the investigation late last year amid questions about whether the hire was related to Colangelo’s efforts to seek adjustments to the salary structure for his top prosecutors.

It would be interesting to know the political affiliation of the people mentioned in this story. Everything seems to be political these days.
Just wondering....moo

So disappointed that this matter might influence the JFD prosecutions.

I think you can extrapolate the political affiliations, based on the fact that Lamont is a Democrat. I mean, it isn’t certain, but that would be my guess. Having said that, I am of the opinion that party affiliation doesn’t go hand-in-hand with corruption-I do think that politicians in general are prone to be corruptable, and I am really disappointed in R. Colangelo. I still think he’s right to pursue the prosecution of MT and KM, and think nobody is more pleased about these developments than J Schoenhorn and the Troconis coven.

Quoting myself because it’s too late to edit and say that what I meant is, I think R Colangelo is affiliated with the Rep. party, because Lamont, who is a democrat, wants an inquiry. But I don’t think it matters, because no particular party has a patent on bad behavior. What interests me more is that Colangelo’s remark about wanting raises for his people because he doesn’t want anyone opposing him-not sure if that might have bern said in jest, or if it was actually serious. Maybe they deserved raises, after all. Hiring the daughter of the man who might be able to facilitate the raises could be a problem.
