Maybe the blood got on the inside roll of the paper towels in the pantry because someone with bloody hands was grabbing for paper towels. Then, she took the already tainted paper towel roll into the house, never noticing a smudge inside the roll. I probably would not notice either.
This.

I feel so deeply for her.

She was so focused on doing her job -- attending to the children. I can imagine her nausea later when she realized what had happened in the garage, that FD had been standing right there, that JFd never made it back to her still warm tea.

Everything JFd was afraid of....

Not to mention, the guilt knowing had she spent the night (the original plan) this might not have happened because the entire plan would have been derailed once he saw Lauren's car parked in the driveway that morning.

Yes, that's exactly what happens to people with genuine hearts, they hurt, they wish they could have prevented it...

But only three people had that power. FD, MT and KM. Three self absorbed heartless ego feeders.

If only JFd went to her appointment straight from school....

One has to wonder if FD had lurked in the bushes on previous occasions, studying JFd's habits.... to know she'd return.

I don't trust FD at all. I think he finagled that meal at JFd's house to do some recon. I think he left that evening armed with her garage code.

It's scary to think what could've happened if LA arrived at Welles earlier, while FD was still there cleaning.

And I still can't rule out the possibility that someone was dispatched to Welles for more clean up. But even without that, there was only a sliver of time between FD driving JFd's Suburban away and LA arriving...

Still warm tea.

Still warm blood.

All so very sad...

And MT sits there, stone cold IMO.

Yes, to all of this, and stone cold and not showing her face at all today. He definitely had a means to enter the house. It's all so very sad. I agree.

We did get the words " Albany Avenue" admitted on the record today ! Much to the Troconis crew's sorrow.

It's coming !!!!

Do you think at some point they will put one of the boys on the stand? I believe was on the potential witness list.

IMO If that's the only inconsistency so far I think we are doing okay.
The P can make the case that the paper towels were in the house, the same brand as the others etc. Whose blood is it ? Fotis or Jennifer's I assume?
I think the larger picture is that JS will say that the 5 kids were home for lunch so who is to say one child didn't have a bloody hang nail or something and that is their blood - since it would most likely be similar characteristics to the parents? I obvi am not a science person so not even sure that is valid.
Given the pieces of paper towels in the garage with blood, the 10 missing paper towel rolls, the testimony that things in the garage looked like blood was wiped up off the RRover and garage floor etc. If the blood from the paper towels fits in with the other blood from the gargae the P should be fine - its not just one thing - its all the things that add up IMO
On the other hand the D I think did the P a favor by showinga picture of the pantry with only one roll of paper towels. We heard testomony that Lauren put 12 rolls there the night before. That is ten rolls missing. Significant
All just IMO

I shudder at the thought of putting the children on the stand. I am still seeing them as younger though, but still hope they don’t have to relive this nightmare by being cross examined by JS.

Really significant. Thank the Lord for LA.
Solid girl with her head screwed on straight.

Two of my favorite words to have admitted... along with "alibi script" which is yet to come.

Is this really bad or just juror's stupidity?
Depends on how you look at it. They could be losing one pro prosecution alternate, or he could be indicative of all of them. If I was Michelle, I would be worried right now, and not relieved.

I thought a cleaning lady went to her house that morning…. Did she change the paper towel roll?

Yes, I believe your recollection is correct as to wife 1.
Yeah, but according to Michi and her family, his second divorce was amicable, too. Maybe it is, as long as you are letting Fotis make the rules.

I did not get to watch the whole trial today just snippets here and there.

I was interested when the D/JS said that one of the blood hounds/tracker dogs brought to Waverny the day of JFD disappearance followed JFD's scent to the talmadge Hill RR stop.
Just as a fyi Lapham Rd where the suburban was found goes into Talmadge Hill Rd and the Talmadge Hill RR stop is right there by the entrance to the Merritt Parkway/rt 15. The red truck was seen on the Merritt headed north and it is possible this entrance was used by Fotis to head back to Farmington.( map attached). If her bloody clothes/body etc happened to be in the bed of the truck that would make some sense.

Of course JS wants to suggest that JFD could have hopped the train for parts unknown from that RR station. So curious though as to how JS is he going to reconcile JFD off on an adventure, with her bloody bra etc being thrown in the trash on Albany Ave by F&M later on that day. Is he hoping to get that evidence thrown out bc he disagrees about LE taking Fotis' phone due to "constitutional" issues? Lots and lots of gibberish from that one. IMO

As far as the defendant - as many have said she got the message about her facial expressions in court, but to have her hair hanging over her face all day away from the camera and jury was such a totally bizarre look - it made her look totally unhinged IMO

That snagged for me too.

Could someone have come back AFTER LA replaced the roll for additional clean up?

I wish we could go back in time (well, for a thousand reasons) to see what all occurred at the holder. On, off, on, off.

Maybe FD inadvertently transfered blood to several rolls as he was breaking into the packaging. So he may have transfered blood in the pantry and she moved it to the kitchen, utterly unaware....

Yes, I like this theory

Michi must know that she cannot control herself, so she had to cover her face

Yes, the two older twin boys are on the list. They are 17 years old now and might have the maturity to handle the questioning and cross and certainly have the love and adoration of their late mother to answer any and all questions to honor her life. Yes, it will be tough, yet I believe if it happens, they will speak the truth out of honor and respect for their absolutely amazing mother and Gloria will be very proud of those boys. Amen.

Lauren would have taken the kids to school and may have come back in the middle of this chaos. He might have killed her, too

Very respectfully snipped by me, and bolded by me.

If only Fd had been the kind of man determined to earn his own living and protect his wife & children.

If only MT was the kind of woman determined to earn her own living and not remain a sidepiece as long as the lifestyle was nice.

If only KM had been in recovery.

If only any of the three of them had a half-way developed moral compass!

LA is indeed my hero!

RIP, Jennifer.

What does JS think Jennifer was-a hobo? hopping on a train with nothing? Not even the bra and shirt she had been wearing to drop off the kids??
