Oh to be a fly on the wall.
Don't you just love it when they put 'em in separate rooms and put
the squeeze on them?
Course he probably has his attorney there with him and may not say much but she may be alone and could spill the beans with enough pressure.

From the DM site when did he change from shorts into long pants and boots?? His body language from the photos reminds me of Chris Watts...jmo

BBM, same here, @bestill ! One of my 1st thoughts. Also, I was surprised by his mistresses appearance. They do def look haggard.

I've been away for a few months, can someone please fill me in on what constitutes a "silver alert"?

  • #604
I've been waiting to see this in msm so I could post this.....
I used to live very close to the scene in Farmington and still have
family there. In talking to my relative this afternoon I was surprised she knew many of the details of what's going on with this
investigation. She said at that time officials did not know the
whereabouts of FD and she mentioned "warrant" in the same
sentence. So I've been sitting on my hands waiting for this to hit
msm.
my guess is they have some pretty strong evidence to gently
encourage FD and his gf to have a neighborly get together w/ LE.
Let's hope neither of them leave the police station tonight.
Daily Mail showed a caravan of about a dozen LE cars leaving
the Farmington home around 8:45 pm.
As I looked at the photos, I was wondering if LE will be searching the house while the "conversation" is happening?

Have to consider the events of the day with the searching, LE has info and I think they are closing in. Bringing them in for questioning is a big deal considering the timing.

Is there a place where we can put & keep links to the most up-to-date news reports & msm most likely to cover any breaking news on this case?

Someone could start a media thread for the case.

I always mess up when I start a thread so I'll leave it to people who are competent, if someone wants to do it.

Probably. FD’s GF arrived at their home and then went inside to get a bag for her daughter and sent her and the nanny off, probably to nanny’s home. I wonder if LE had a search warrant and told her to do this instead of allowing her daughter and nanny to stay at the house while FD & GF were taken to PD for questioning.

Maybe 10 miles. Albany avenue is a bit rough.
Wait - the blood was in the Farmington home? I thought it was in New Canaan.

Does this indicate they believe she has a Mental Impairment since she's not over 65?
No.

Typically it is for the elderly and those with mental issues, but in this particular case it was apparently just used to notify the public that this woman was missing, and that it was serious.

We’ve heard nothing in regards to her mental state, one way or the other.

Obviously, that doesn’t seem to be a factor here, as police clearly believe this to be foul play.

Correct. New Canaan.

Investigators found traces of blood when
they were searching the New Canaan home of Jennifer Dulos on Saturday, the Hartford Courant reported, citing law enforcement officials familiar with the investigation.

Yes....and they obviously told the woman to pack a bag for her child.

I am assuming the child lives in the house, so the need to pack a bag indicates the woman might not be returning before the nanny would want to go home for the evening, and the child needed to go somewhere else for the night. (And maybe LE will be searching the home and wouldn't want the child there....my speculation, not fact).

All very interesting.

I hope tomorrow brings news about where Jennifer is.

Yes the blood was found at the New Canaan home where Jennifer lives. I forgot who posted it, but when he/she questioned how far away was the search location to the “Farmington house with the blood”, she was mistaken. And she was given an answer without being corrected.

Farmington & Hartford area are approx an hour plus North-east from New Canaan.

Can't figure out the Hartford connection. Even coming from New Canaan to Farmington you don't pass through Hartford.
Farmington is a suburb of the city of Hartford. Wanna do an easy hit and dump? Likewise, in New Canaan, Stamford or Port Chester or Bridgeport would be likely dumping grounds.

Agreed. What do you tell the children other than Mommy is missing? And, despite hearing he was hard on the children, he is their Dad. I bet they do miss him. What isn't clear is when is the last time they spent time with him?
It sounded like he had weekends but on a supervised basis. Not exactly who was charged with the supervision though. So, he probably saw the children the Sat and Sun before the disappearance.

My guess is when her friends reported her missing, LE may have
talked to FD and he "may" have indicated she had been distraught
and he may have wanted to set the scene that she might off herself
or take off to parts unknown.

Thank you! I figured it was something to do w/being a senior, but she's only 50. Got it now. I think.

It doesn't make much sense. She's under 65 and I haven't read about any reason that she would be mentally impaired. She doesn't seem to fit the "silver alert" category.
