I think LE has an accomplice dead to rights, an accomplice who might have left finger prints in her car, or home or who is on surveillance somewhere and who may be talking. How else would LE, know to check that one specific sewer up in Hartford?
I think that is why they felt they could detain and question FD and (girl friend, perhaps) last evening. That sequence of searching in Hartford in the late afternoon and then questioning STBX a couple hours later was not coincidental, MOO MOO.

Yes, the pond at Waveny Park was drained on Friday. This is a shallow pond that can't be more than 4 ft deep.

This seriously cracked me up. A bunch of grown ups given a nice gal the finger because she had NY plates seems extreme to me! And I live outside of Philadelphia and......I am a Dallas fan!!

It’s true though-we have NY plates, and frequently drive up to Mass. to visit my in-laws. My husband chooses not to notice, because they are his ‘tribe’.

In so many cases, it is usually a mystery who-done-it, at least for a while, but geez Louise, in this case, is there really any other suspect but her husband? I mean did he really think he wouldn't be a suspect or that he is so brilliant noone would ever be able to tie her disappearance to him? Of course I am assuming it is him, but really who else would it be? I am presuming his hatred and rage was so immense that he could not control it and did stupid things and will be arrested very soon. JMO

Jennifer Dulos, 50, was reported missing on May 24 after last being seen driving her black SUV earlier that day. Her estranged husband Fotis Dulos claims that on the same day, the children’s nanny whisked all five kids to an apartment owned by his mother-in-law, Gloria Farber, 85, in New York City.
Jennifer and Fotis have been in and out of court since Jennifer filed for divorce in June 2017, with Fotis submitting court files on Tuesday to regain custody of his children from Farber.
Meanwhile, Farber filed for a motion requesting the financial records of Fotis Dulos’ real estate development business, after alleging he owed her and her late husband $1m. She claims that she and her husband loaned their son-in-law $1.5m for his business in 2004 – of which he has only repaid $500,000.

Ha ha! The HS main building was built in the late 70's (similar to most area towns such as Wilton, Darien and Westport) as the area experienced a population increase as NYC suburbia crept northward from Westchester County. The HS is actually part of Waveny and if you do a satellite view on google you can see how the HS and Farm Road define the far boundary of Waveny. Its a beautful set up with an elementary school (South) across the street from the HS on Farm Road and Saxe Middle School on South Avenue. Children are able to walk to town, to the YMCA on South Avenue and Waveny.

Here is the wiki info on the HS:
Construction on the school was finalized in 1971. The school is located on grounds donated by the Lapham family, carving off approximately 46[8] acres of Waveny Park.

The donations of land came in two installments, one being 31 acres (130,000 m2) in 1964 and the second being 15 acres (61,000 m2) in 1966.

The school is at the intersection of Farm Road and South Avenue, with the latter being a major thoroughfare into and out of downtown New Canaan. The school is set back from South Avenue by a 19-acre (77,000 m2) wetlands buffer which includes running trails, a part of Waveny Park.

In August 2018, two lunch ladies from the school were arrested and accused of stealing about $500,000 from the cafeteria over a five-year period. The school received nationwide attention for the arrests.[9]

For the purpose of comparison with the achievement levels of similar schools, the state Department of Education classifies schools and communities in "District Reference Groups," defined as "districts whose students' families are similar in education, income, occupation and need, and that have roughly similar enrollment." New Canaan is one of eight school districts in District Reference Group A (the others are Darien, Westport, Wilton, Weston, Ridgefield, Easton, and Redding.).[10]

Grand Union is sadly long gone with Trader Joes taking over the locations. But area chain Shop Rite has the lobster tanks (wonder if they got them when Grand Union went out of business as they really look quite well used!). Few things change quickly in the area and so I think if you were to return most of what you would see would look the same. Well, other than most of the smaller houses from the 60s and 70s being knocked down to built the McMansions that STBX builds, even in town which looks a bit strange as large houses sit on postage stamp lots. But the downtown living is super popular as children can walk anywhere and schools are close by.

I’m nowhere near a body language expert (but I manage bad debt collections) looking at the pics on the DM article... MOO that smirk on FD’s face is sickening. Farther down, the pic of FD from behind with his hand on the back of his head reminds me of Watts putting his hands behind his head when shown the surveillance video. It’s like assuming the “hands behind your head” arrest position.

The pic of MT with her hands in her pants pockets, looks like a “hiding” position. Plus she’s hunched down a bit like trying to make herself seem small and covered, another “hiding, self protection” kind of look. Her raised eyebrows belie her body position though, that to me looks like “shock, cautious fear and searching for what to say” while her pursed lips suggest concentration to me, again like thinking of what to say.

They both have their arms crossed while opposite LE, which speaks for itself.

I’m originally from CT and a mom and this case is devastating to me. 5 children! And the fear poor JD and no doubt the children lived in.

ETA: I was just looking again and keying in on MT’s pants. Those aren’t really “functional” pockets, more like decorative pockets on slim fit pants. She’s really trying to hide her hands and comfort herself by jamming them into those tiny pockets IMO

My favorite was the old classic finger point gesture. Worth a rewatch IMO as there is some classic body language at play in those pics. Mistress also is something to watch. Surprising though that with a child she didn't exit stage left before it all hit the fan.

The mistress is probably just as afraid of FD as Jennifer was. JMO.

The court documents from an article posted up thread indicated that JD said in a deposition that her husband had passports from the US and Turkey. She also said she had seen a passport from Greece in the past. The STBX was pursuing Greek citizenship for the children before it appears the court put a stop to this process.

The question I asked above thread was why the court didn't appear to ask that ALL STBX passports be surrendered rather than just asking for his US Passport. Their must be a reason for this unless it was an oversight. Unless things changed from the 2017 deposition I read, I don't think the press reporting on the passports is completely accurate. Will continue to read documents but its slow going and not everything is public.

In the DailyMail pics, Dulos' girlfriend is wearing almost the exact pants as Derion Vence when he was seen carrying the laundry basket out.

I know it means nothing, but those pants were analyzed forever in Maleah's case and are a style I won't ever forget. And I won't ever wear/purchase!!

Just a strange coincidence and observation.
