Isn't there also something about what direction someone looks when answering a question - related to memory or imagination? Body language is an interesting topic, and some things are obvious. Crossed arms means we have nothing to say to each other.

Or you are cold.

Wow is right!!

Question: Can an individual be "detained" by LE if they aren't officially a POI or a suspect??

IMO, he can be detained, but he is free to go unless he is arrested.

I hope she has set up a will and trust (I’m guessing yes) so that if she is dead he can’t get her assets as they are still married unfortunately. I’m guessing her business savvy father and mom set things up with her to protect her particularly after she left him- otherwise he gets it I would imagine under CT probate- JMO

My point for bringing this up though is that I would hope that a judge senior to the judges that have been part of this case takes a look at the overall file and considers the welfare of the children.

EXCELLENT point.

I was thinking the same thing -- that his body language is similar to that of Chris Watts'

There has to be more than just her own blood (if proven to be hers) in her own home to consider homicide. She could have had a nose bleed or cut her finger and cleaning it up isn't necessarily suspicious either. There must have been other evidence such as disarray or surveillance or cadaver scent or something.

I noticed in the video as he was getting into his SUV that he seemed annoyed and angry in the way he whipped the door open and got in an pulled it shut.

I think they mentioned other evidence together with the blood and the attempted cleanup but no details - LE is not sharing much it seems IMO

Plus he threw, what looked like in anger, an overnight bag (?) into the back seat. And then slammed the door!

I wonder if FD and his GF (MT) were told they could not return to the house until after it was searched (on Saturday?)

He surely wasn’t hiding his annoyance and anger very well!

I wish he’d just pull a Jake Patterson and say to the LE...
“I know why you’re here!”
“You got me!”

Look at the photos, they are worn down looking, imo
Notice how Fotis suddenly shaved down his formerly "rakish" hairdo??? Definitely not a flight risk.
And the grandmother - I have no words for what she's going through, and her will and bravery...despite what she's going through. #gloria

I don't know. I'm going to need to see the diploma from Columbia, lol. It's hard to believe that someone with an MBA would be this unable to make his own way in the world. I know it happens, but I'm just not completely convinced that this guy's credentials are legit.

I wonder after speaking to my local (to him) relative early Fri. afternoon, when she said local chatter was that he may have been
playing cat and mouse w/ LE since LE did not know his whereabouts. She also seem to know there was some type of
warrant out involving him or his property.

Also isn't it odd that he and gf went to be interrogated at police
station without his attorney? Or did atty. show up there later?

If word is out that the spotlight is on him and maybe his assets
are being frozen due to all the litigation, and atty's don't work for free or stay involved if they don't get paid, his goose could be cooked. Many past sub-contractors have commented that he
has stiffed many on their invoices for work done on his homes.
Once word gets out that the atm has been closed (her parents' money) and he's a bad actor, he could have a tough time getting
legal representation.

I agree and whoever did it wouldn't risk pulling right up to the house and getting out. Maybe someone broke into her house and was hiding waiting for her to come home. Trying to set it up like a home invasion like what happened to the Petite family. Obviously they had to have her car keys to move the car.

If he, as the rumor has it, stiffs subcontractors, I wonder if there are any liens on any of the houses he is trying to sell? I think subcontractors can, and do, file for a lien when the contractor doesn’t pay them. This could be why he has some houses that are unsold (at least he did have at some point).

Geez, that is an excellent point about the car keys. Wonder if that is what LE in Hartford were looking for in the sewer.
Do car keys ever have a finder beacon on them?

I think there has to be someone talking based on the specific area that they were searching in Hartford. I also think that obtaining the search warrant made the STBX and his gf begin a conversation with the police. I kind of like how the LEO has been playing their cards. You are not in custody and drive your own car to the station, pack a bag, but, we will be going over your home with a fine tooth comb.

I have a couple of questions though. Did they get a warrant to look at his car? (If not, do they think another vehicle was used or her vehicle was used to dispose of her- assuming she is dead?) Or, the gf's car? (If no, then we can assume they have evidence that the car was not used.) Was he driving a rental because they already have his car? Did LE ask for a warrant for his business offices? Or, other business vehicles?

I think Jennifer will be found in a short frame of time.
