• Michelle Troconis, the girlfriend of Fotis Dulos, who is also charged with hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence is being represented by Westport Attorney Andrew Bowman. Her parents are in courthouse awaiting her arraignment.

See, I have been questioning how the nanny knew to take the children to their grandmother’s if the father was to have picked them up for Memorial Day weekend. If a plan was that much in place, poor Jennifer must have slept with her eyes open.

It would take an hour and a half to get from New Canaan to Farmington - in ideal traffic conditions. You would be insane to want to make that trip the Friday of Memorial Day weekend - three hours, probably, just in the one direction. (Of course we know that all signs are pointing to STBX being at least criminally insane - but just wanted to point out the logistics.)

FD was previously married to a young (42) attorney who he worked with at Ernst and Young, NYC.

Neighbor says there are 5 police cars at FD's home on Jefferson
Crossing this morning, still searching.

Just because they are there to support her, it doesn't mean they believe she is innocent. It mostly just means they are parents. As a parent myself, I do understand their presence at the courthouse. I am sure they would rather be almost anywhere else. JMO

MOO JD had a plan in the event she went missing. The kids were taken to NYC and I can’t help but wonder if they waited to report her missing until they knew the kids were safe. I think her plan foiled his plan. I bet he did not expect the kids to be taken to the grandmother’s home so quickly.

A theory:
JD goes missing
Friends call each other when they realize she’s not showing up to appts.
Nanny is alerted and picks kids up as if nothing is amiss and drives straight to NYC
Confirm kids are safe
The call to LE is made and a silver alert is raised.

I wish you were correct about national conversation as the JD case is how things end up in a DV case WHEN THE PERSON has MONEY IMO. Can you imagine how few people going through family court have the means of JD? Most women are fighting for their children and their own lives with little to no means, no experts, no great lawyers and are fighting against partners that have more money and better representation. Many women leave their partner with no place to live or move in with friends or relatives. Having volunteered at a shelter for abused women and heard many tales of their situations I can attest that women sometimes leave with just the clothes on their back and in rough shape mentally. I keep replaying the court decision by Judge Heller that reversed the visitation order that JD has spent 2 years fighting to get and wonder how a court system can do something such as we have seen? Surprisingly though those with family court experience aren't surprised by the order reversal as I am. But I can't get that court order allowing STBX to have the children for Memorial Day out of my head. Simply cannot.

I hate to say it, but I’m not at all surprised, either.

Were FD’s & JD’s motions filed in Fairfield County?

(I’m still half asleep and cant remember at the moment. I kept waking up and checking WS!! As if s’thing new had happened during the middle of the night!!! I’m on AZ time - 3 hrs behind ET)

The motions I filed & my divorce were in Ffld County and I too had a female judge throughout my divorce and the trial.

My then STBX was so charming, so conniving, so clever and even made the judge giggle.

And now, looking back... I never had a chance at winning when I filed the motions showing he was in contempt and that he was lying!

It made me sick to see the judge fall for STBX’s phony charm! But hey... I had fallen for it, also... 4 yrs prior!
