Ok - I mentioned it because sometimes others have difficulty staying on a long thread and would then miss what’s going on with the case.

ETA: I was obsessed with True Crime & followed so many cases at WS from 2003 to 2007, when I was out on workman’s comp.

Then followed only a few cases until 2009 when I retired from work.

At that time, I moved to AZ & became very active in the retirement community I now live in and would occasionally to frequently check on cases, until Jayme Chloss Case and now I’m obsessed again!!

I’m amazed at how much has changed at WS over the yrs and how the membership has grown tremendously from when I first joined officially in 2004.

Ok - back to the JD Case!

School Calendar |New Canaan Country School
It looks like their lacrosse and other sports start around 3 - 3:15 and 3:30 so I am guessing school lets out between 2- 3pm. And JD's last appointment was at 1pm. So there may have been an expectation of pick up around that time and either JD did not arrive and Nanny was called or their plan was Nanny pick up and bring home to New Canaan house? Something made her drive to NYC IMO something out of the ordinary. That is a long drive and if pick up was around 3 - and the drive was 3 hours 44 minutes or so - it puts their arrival around 7pm and they were safe with her mom, mom had the guard set up, and called to report her missing. This makes sense to me JMO.

I was curious about school drop off - looks like they have early bird and regular and the school day starts at 8:15am for most grades and ends at 2:15 for lower school. This fits with the timeline IMO.

So a solo practitioner. This case will be quite the workload for a solo. I bet if he’s charged with murder, someone else is hired or brought on.

It's doubtful that in the absolute sea of media articles about this case and discussion groups on the internet, 19 years from now her kids are going to be able to find your one post on Websleuths.




How do we know this? I'm trying to catch up.

It's speculation - what we do know is they found blood in her home and FD and MT have been arrested for tampering with evidence and hindering a prosecution with additional charges (according to the article I posted upthread). We have rumors and MSM reported he was spotted on video in Hartford IIRC. I and others are trying to keep her media thread updated so we can pull MSM articles as needed. Honestly, there hasn't been much confirmed other than the blood and she's missing with no cell/credit card activity since 5/24 and they haven't even indicated the time for that. Mom reported her missing at 7pm (I think when she knew the kids were safe at her home) JMO

He was one of Crafts' public defenders. Such an eerie case and another example of how much energy people will put into murder rather than walking away and just living their lives, IMO.

Well she's some sort of promoter? I don't think it's meant to be anything other than promotion. (Though no one seemed to care about her promotional tweets).

Seems her focus was Florida. Where does she live? Were they trying to take JD's kids and move to Florida?

Of the two charges, one seems to be a possible sentence of about a year or so (tampering).

The hindering charge is at minimum five years (from what I've seen) that cannot be reduced in any way. So it can be more.

This appears to be quite similar to Kelsey Berreth case. Will the woman in this one turn like the girlfriend in that case?

I hope so.

That seems to be what the charges are about.

Yup that’s why I was thinking of Fargo I know they based the wood chipper scenes on Crafts murder and

I’m not sure, but I do remember that case from when I lived in Monroe, which is next to Newtown, where the murder took place!

I also remember Atty Riccio being in the news a lot when I lived in CT.

Arraignments ended. Judge kept bond for Fotis Dulos and Michelle Troconis at $500,000. If posted subject to GPS monitors and they must surrender passports. She’s already done turned in passport and says she’ll post today No contact with other defendant or JDs family

I thought so as well except that in KB - KK turned quickly and avoided arrest - in this case they both were arrested at the same time together. Who knows what she knows and if she will turn on him but she has a young child - I cannot imagine giving up my life like this for a man and thinking I would get away with it. We see this over and over though. MOO
