Yes, but in their eagerness to put FD away, will they agree to no jail time for her, and settle for deportation ? Hope you're right.

I think they will make a deal with her. She's not charged with conspriacy. She faces at least five years on the hindering charge which permthe statute is five years of te total sentence which CANNOT BE REDUCED or bargained away.

So it's not up to five years for first degree hindering. It's a minimum.

That's a long time for a parent of a young kid.

IMO the charges were brought to get her to talk. I hope she will.

They would likely agree to drop the hindering charge and sentence her to probation in the states and then deportation.

I'm fine with that as long as he goes away for murder.

Similar to the Kelsey Berreth PF case. Without her help it will be hard to pin murder in him.

I would think he would have put down a hefty retainer to secure this attorney - and since the litigation with his MIL is ongoing - that's his money until there is a ruling but I would have hoped assets would have been frozen at some point JMO

I understand that everyone is entitled to at least an adequate defense, and I get that attorneys should be able to expect to get paid, but it burns me up that other people who have a prior claim on that money, especially Mrs. Farber, probably will never see it because it’ll all get eaten up by legal fees. My apologies to all lawyers, and relatives and friends of lawyers here.

Man I'm glad murderers are stupid. They usually are. Because people with sense don't typically actually commit murder as a means to solve their problems!

There may not be much to lead them to, it seems. Perhaps she was dismembered and disposed of in a way that she can't really be recovered. I mean, they must have these bags, so what is in them? Obviously blood, but what else?

I agree - I think it is a LE strategy to get her to turn on him - she will bond out, see her child and fold IMO. Nothing is worth your child to most people but if she is one of those that favors the man over the child well. we are in for a long wait and we need to find Jennifer sooner rather than later. JMO
