Well, this doesn't sound good at all. "Found burned" suggests to me that LE suspects intent, but whose?

The car being torched is ominous. JMO

Unless he was traveling to an early morning job, I don't know of too many 20 year olds that are up and out of the house at 5:30 in the morning. He had a purpose in leaving - but what was it?

The car being burned is not good. I can't see him burning it himself, with him being missing, just by make and model LE would quickly figure out it was his vehicle, so the burning would have been an attempt to get rid of trace evidence, IMO. Not good.

Maybe a run or an early morning workout? Or a manual labor job that starts early? MOO

DEC 3

EAST WINDSOR - A state park in East Windsor reopened to the public Wednesday, after a missing Enfield man's car was located burned nearby Tuesday, officials said.

The investigation into 20-year-old Julius Stocinis' disappearance remains ongoing, town police Lt. Derek Leab said Wednesday morning, though personnel searching for Stocinis no longer were at Scantic River State Park.

I did note that the earlier reports stated that the car was found OUTSIDE of the park. But I'm sure they checked the park thoroughly before allowing it to reopen to the public. This article, if not already linked, has a much better picture of him. https://www.ctpost.com/journalinqui...tic-river-state-park-missing-man-21220535.php

Where is he? It's winter. He looks like a strong, physically fit person, but it's been more than 48 hours now.

Could this have been something like a carjacking gone wrong? IMO, if Julius wanted to quietly "disappear," setting his own car on fire wouldn't serve that goal.

It says family members last saw him at 5:45 am, so apparently he wasn’t the only one in the house who got up early. Wonder if he was supposed to show up at work or school later that day? He’s very fit; possibly worked out at a gym in the mornings before anything else?
So much not known yet.
A burned car is never a good sign. 🙁

I don’t think it’s the case here but there was a case out of Texas where a man set his truck in fire and disappeared. Brett Detamore. But he was wanting to disappear mostly due to a failing business it seemed.

That’s genuinely great to hear. Cases like this can take such unexpected turns, so it’s a relief to know he’s safe. I’m sure more details will come out in time, but for now it’s good just to have confirmation that he was found without harm.

Situations like this remind me how quickly things can escalate or appear far more serious based on the available evidence. I’m glad this one ended on a positive note.

I'm SO glad he's home and hopefully, those resopnsible for the car burning are held accountable for their actions. I rather doubt we'll get an update, I'm sure the family wishes to keep the matter private unless an arrest is made.
