Police have issued a Silver Alert for a 28-year-old woman who went missing Wednesday.

Police said Lauren Rechel is a white female with brown hair and green eyes who is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket with a faux fur collar.

A photo was not available.

An alert to help locate a missing person but without a photo. Doesn't get much harder than that :/

Thank you! Tons of useless info out there about her but I didn't see a picture or any SM (altho my sleuthing skills leave much to be desired lol) so this is much appreciated!

Small photo of her here. It appears she has taught zumba classes.

Bigger version of it here: Lauren Rechel - Instructor Page

Her Linked in, plus several videos indicate she is likely truly working in the mental health field in some capacity doing counseling.

This is the largest version of the photo above I can find. Her address is a small apartment. Looks like laundry is in the basement (I never used the basement laundry rooms when I lived alone, unless someone else was with me). Lauren Rechel CT - Google Search:

The Silver Alert was a surprise. At her age to get a Silver Alert she has to be mentally impaired.

The Silver Alert system, effective July 1, 2009, mandates that law enforcement immediately begin searching for missing individuals who are ages 65 or older, or ages 18 and over if mentally impaired. It seems that in CT they go by some other definition for Silver Alert! If you look on the different missing cases in CT, they have a lot of silver for very different age, from kids to older, very weird somehow...
