Norwich — Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 63-year-old woman.

Laurie Peterson is described as a white female with blond hair and blue eyes. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds, according to the alert. She was reported missing earlier in the day Saturday and was last seen wearing a black wool cap, a black and gray long jacket, pink leggings and black shoes, the alert said. No photograph was available.

Anyone with information on her location is asked to call Norwich police at (860) 886-5561.
