This is a weird alert, i suppose a 3 years old did not go missing alone

Indeed. Why issue an alert with no information about the circumstances?

It's happened a few times lately. At least this one has a name and an age!

Still no update that I can find and no more information on the circumstances, where are you baby boy?

Very shocking that there is nothing to find in msm or elsewhere about this little one:(o_O. Why?

We’ve had a number of these alerts issued lately (here in CT) and no info and it’s maddening!!!!!

How can we help look for a child when we don’t have a clue with whom he might be? If this isn’t parental or familial...then we are wasting precious time.

:::smh:::

Sigh, again not enough attention. People seem to be following Jayme and Darnell. This little guy needs attention and Oh My God the Gallagher children!! Horrific!

I'm confused about "silver" alert. I thought that was issued for missing senior citizens? Is he missing with an older adult?

So once again 3 year olds take off without a care in the world. I bet youll find him at the nearest community center sharing milk bottles (heavy in sarcasm).
I dont understand alerts like these, on foot, in car? On a stroller?

In general CT is somehow not really able to spread information, many times here on WS you will find a case where some alert is published but later no one publishes a follow up. I did not find any good source of information by LE or a missing person page database for CT.

Silver alert is sometimes also used for mental ilnesses or some one functioning as much younger, but in this case i can not think of anything like this for a 3 years old!

Thank you, it does seem odd, there's no follow up at all out there. Hopefully he was found.

What the heck is going on? I can't find anything newer than October 26 on Google. No nothing. Let's hope LE is on it and doesn't need to share info with the public. Otherwise... what the heck??

In general, at least in CT, we use Silver Alerts for missing people (of any age) that don't meet the Amber Alert criteria. For a child that generally means they're with a non-custodial parent, overdue from a visitation, etc. NOT believed to be in danger of imminent harm.

I don't see any updates either. Given the non-MSM info I have, I think this is a parental thing.

4 days later, no update and no further information... so what do they expect the people to look for?

  • #17
Could the silver alert mean he is with a grandparent or older person?

  • #18
This is very odd. I've never seen a missing child reported with such little info. IMO

  • #19
Hmm, something is wrong here, could he have been found but no-one bothered reporting it? Sorry, Brit here so I'm not familiar with how things are handled, is that something that happens?

This is for sure possible, happens with the CT cases from time to time
