I would love to know Charles Pierce's whereabouts when Lisa went missing... and also Wayne Chapman's.

It's so sad to see teenage rebellion end badly... It was definitely set up by an older man/men... The remorse she shows in the note makes me wonder if she were alive... would she have contacted her family by now? I remember feelings being a lot stronger when she was a teenager... I feel like she's probably deceased... I hope her family finds out what happened... It was also a terrible time for child sexual abuse and prostitution... police in the 70s weren't known for being the best investigators... so it could also be poor police work... Maybe those files were lost decades ago or something... Sadly, we'll probably never know...
whatever
Rest in peace, Joy

The link to other girls' disappearances is certainly compelling. But she also disappeared the night after an underage drinking charge. Of course she could have been plucked off the street regardless, but it sounds like the other girls disappeared during the day, and a couple on bikes. Further, if the sighting is correct of her on the street at 8pm, it doesn't necessarily mean she disappeared from the street, which is the impression at first glance. Is the directoin she was headed at all relevant?

We know she wrote the note, and it has a definite run away vibe. But it was also a Friday night, perhaps Lisa wanted to take off for just the weekend to scare her mother, or just let off some steam. Is it known if she'd done this before?

Her sister said she was affiliated with older boys and some men. I'm going to guess that one of them is the buyer of the alcohol, so at least 18. Not uncommon then or now, but it could play out badly. If Lisa wrote this note, actually addressing her 'littleness' and then left in a huff, I think "he" would be one of the first things on her mind. Perhaps to visit before/after the friend. Assuming he wasn't the friend or at the friend's house in the first place.

We don't know what-all was said to Lisa re the drinking. If her mother said "we're going to call the police on him for harassing little girls" and/or buying alcohol for minors....and Lisa repeated that TO him, who knows his reaction. For all we know he had a history with LE or was on probation and that would be very bad for him.

That is definitely possible.

I lean more towards someone abducting her though as she was walking home. Maybe someone loosely associated with the older crowd she was hanging around with? Thinking back to my younger days, there were always guys around in the late teens to maybe 30 or so who bought beer and stuff for high school parties. There were also a handful of middle school kids who would show up at parties. I'm younger than she would have been by a few years, but I think similar enough generational experience.

I could see something happening like one of the older guys who hung around being a predator, she recognized him and he offered her a ride--either home, or said he was going to a party or to hang out with the older boy she liked, and did she want to go?

I'm sure LE has probably exhausted any possible links between the victims, but there could be someone on the periphery like this. 13 IS still really young, and where she had just gotten into trouble the night before she may have been in full-blown rebellion and really pushing the limits with trying to act way older than her age. That could get her into a bad situation really fast. She would probably know enough not to go with a "stranger", but some "cool older dude"? Sounds like she would hop right in. :(
