Did any of the news articles ever mention a name of a family member or friend who was possibly interviewed for an article?
I can’t recall any...just “coworker”, “family member”, and “woman he took out to eat”.

SOUTHBURY — Human skeletal remains were discovered Monday morning in a wooded area near Berkshire Road during a police search for 63-year-old Mark Gasso, who has been missing since April.

Maybe this is Mark.

I will be surprised if this isn’t Mark-his home address was Berkshire Rd, near where the skeletal remains were found. It’s very sad, but at least his family will know. After all this time, I wonder if they’ll be able to tell if foul play was really at hand here?

It may be some time before the skeletal remains discovered this week in a wooded area near Berkshire Road are identified.

“It can be quite the process,” Trooper Sarah Salerno, spokeswoman for Connecticut State Police, said Wednesday.

No one has confirmed that the remains are Gasso's, but they are also not listed as unidentified in NamUs.

Correct, I was just pointing out that the remains found during the search for Gasso have neither been identified as him publicly nor listed as unidentified in any official capacity.
