It seems like it can take some time before results are announced. Even if LE has word of a possible match, they have to verify it, and then locate and notify next of kin. If there are issues related to a criminal investigation, they will often proceed with that before announcing the result.

We've seen cases where it's taken up to a couple of years.

I really wonder what happened to this UID and a possible match with Getti....tried to find updates but I couldn't find it. Did somebody found a picture of Getti in the mean time?

The Lab should receive the DNA this week so we should have an idea of where we are at within the next week or two.

But then there never was much info there.

Gatti's Namus excludes all the Virginia cases and three from Nevada. The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
