I guess I always that a size of 20W would be considered a women's size. I thought the size of men's jeans would be identified by a waist size and length? Could he have been wearing women's clothing?

GREENWICH — Police have identified the remains of a man found in a park in Old Greenwich nearly two years ago.

Peter Robinson, a Stamford man who was about 50 years of age, was positively identified by the state medical examiner’s office through DNA, Greenwich police Capt. Robert Berry said Friday. Robinson was described as a homeless man from the Stamford area. Authorities said his next of kin have been notified.

The cause of death has not been determined in the case.

“It’s being classified as a ‘sudden death’,” said police spokesman Lt. John Slusarz, using the law-enforcement term for a death was unattended and unverified by medical authorities, “We’re investigating it as every other sudden death is.”

A relative of Robinson’s in Connecticut was notified about his passing, Slusarz said. Police said they were working on establishing an outline of his life and activities before he was found dead in Old Greenwich. Authorities said he was homeless and had been living in the Stamford area.

No clear forensic evidence has been made available to establish a cause of death. “It’s under investigation, hopefully the medical examiner will be able to make a determination,” the lieutenant said.
