Pamela Jane Jerome was strangled. Her body was found on January 13, 1986, in a wooded area on property owned by the Bridgeport Hydraulic Company on Valley Road in Redding.

Ms. Jerome was known to have engaged in prostitution in the Bridgeport area. It is believed that she was sexually assaulted before she was strangled.

The State of Connecticut is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of her killer.

''Pepper-Jerome was found “naked from the waist down” with a dark-colored wool blend coat, tan-colored turtleneck with maroon and brown stripes, a pair of tan corduroy pants and brown leather boots, according to the state Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection website, and it was later determined that she had been strangled.''

Edgar Rodriguez was also found on Bridgeport Hydraulic Company property in Redding, in 1989... wonder if these 2 cases are related?
