It worked for me and they went over the timeline of events then the lead investigator spoke to Peter asking him to turn himself in as his family & friends all say that he's not like this. They want him to speak for himself. His family has hired a lawyer who will represent him if he does.

Tuesday evening, Connecticut State Police provided an update on the manhunt. They report the case is still active, ongoing, and very fluid, so they are holding back some information to maintain the integrity of the investigation and safety of witnesses...
They also sent a message directly to Peter saying his family and friends say this behavior is not the person they know: “This is not who you are…We want you to be able to tell your story. We are here to listen to you…We [all] want a peaceful end to this…We are waiting to hear from you; we want to hear from you…Please call us.”
CSP encouraged Manfredonia to call 9-1-1 and let them know where he is.
CSP provide update on multi-state manhunt underway for 23-year-old suspected of killing 2, last seen in PA with stolen guns

could be tracking him through aerial surveillance or maybe cameras on the highway
or maybe someone witnessed the car going tha way.
Seems like they'd have aerial surveillance on the highways looking for him.

Looking for a stolen Black Hyundai Santa Fe, PA reg KYW-1650, NOT CONFIRMED that it’s the suspect, but was stolen from the area he was last seen. DO NOT APPROACH, call 911 immediately

We actually had a 2012 Santa Fe and it didn’t have onboard navigation. I don’t know if others might or have an add-on GPS system but it definitely isn’t standard.

Urrgg wasn’t he last seen 24 hours or so ago? He could be anywhere at this point within 24ish hours driving time

Me too! Maybe he was crazy enough to share his plans with the girl he abducted? He likely provided some insight into his current headspace at the very least. Maybe?

ETA: I can't believe he hasn't been spotted since Sunday with the number of cameras posted up everywhere today. Does anyone know if CT/PA/NJ has license plate readers or traffic cameras on their major highways?
