Silver Alert CT - Tyanna Baker, 22, & Layanna Stewart, 2, Stratford, 30 Jul 2020

STRATFORD, CT — Police have issued a Silver Alert for a woman and her young daughter.

Tyanna Baker, 22, and Layanna Stewart, 2, have been missing since July 30 from Stratford, according to Connecticut State Police.

Baker is 5 feet, 4 inches tall; weighs 185 pounds; and is white with brown hair and brown eyes, police said. Stewart is 2 feet tall; was last seen wearing a tan dress; and is black with brown hair and brown eyes, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call Stratford police at 203-385-4145 or 203-385-4100.

I feel so sorry for all the people who go missing in Connecticut. So little info is released, and updates are extremely rare. It makes it very difficult for the public to help.

I agree. It's quite discouraging when LE doesn't follow up on the status of a MP case. It complicates matters even further when there are so many cases of unidentified remains. Those who may be looking into the UID cases often times can't even determine whether MPs have been recovered/located. I wish some LE agencies would realize just how much could be accomplished if they simply gave updates on cases. Unfortunately, we may never know but I hope Tyanna and Layanna are both safe, healthy, and happy.

Found her FB social media and she seems to be alive and well now. No news articles to back it up though as usual!
