There are closer casinos but Mohegan Sun is the closest Native American Casino to New York City. It's possible she wanted to visit one of those instead of a regular casino.

I found a Wa L Chan from Maryland and a Kathy Chan who lived at the same address and now lives in Virginia. I can't find much info but the whole family seems to be older and there's a possibility a language/cultural barrier would prevent them from being able to report someone missing.

The skeleton of an Asian woman between 45-65 was found about 125 feet away from the mohegan sun casino’s winter lot in Uncasville, Connecticut on April 11, 2019. Her skeletal remains were found scattered in a wooded area.

This case is for missing woman Sunhee Miller. she fits in both the age and height range of the UID. She is from new york and was last seen on October 18, 2018. Her belongings and rental car were found at The Niagara River, above Niagara Falls after her disappearance. There is very little information on her case.

Rosan J Angulo was last seen by her son on June 2nd, 2017. She took some belongings of hers and may have been headed to New York, which borders Connecticut. Her height and age are also very similar to the UID.

that is something i was wondering as well. There is no indication on NAMUS where this information came from. There is no visible name tags on the clothing and no id/wallet listed on the clothing section in namus.

I would like to see the green pendant, but no picture of that available. Could this woman have used another (more American sounding) name? I couldn't find anybody reported missing by this (possible) name?

Asian immigrants will often use an American name. So she could be listed elsewhere under another first name, likely with the last name Chan. Sometimes the American name is similar to their birth name (like Wa --> Wanda or something like that) but sometimes they just pick an unrelated name they like.

Authorities have canceled a Silver Alert for 32-year-old Sang Pak, who was reported missing from Middletown on Dec. 15.

She has mental health concerns that required medication, police said in the previous Silver Alert notification.
