4/9/25 Wednesday, Trial Day 3: State witnesses: Sgt. Kevin Duggan, of Connecticut State Police [crime scene investigator] continues on stand. Forensic science examiner Jennifer Nelson. Trial continues on Thursday, 4/10/25.

April 9, 2025 -- Day 3

The prosecutor introduced the evidence from Morales’s car hoping to make a connection to the gruesome crime scene found inside his girlfriend Christine Holloway’s Ansonia home on Dec. 2, 2019. That’s when she was found in the bathtub beaten to death with a large open wound on her head.

“Was there a brain within her skull?” asked Stein.

“There was not,” answered Duggan.

Duggan also testified to blood-like substances found throughout Halloway’s house as well as on the items discovered in a Kiducation donation bin on Dec. 4.

BBM: OMG, do we know what happened to it???? Christ, I had not heard that detail before.

I dunno... Nobody testified it was CH's brain but we did hear testimony that tissue-like material was found on a towel and matter found on donated items recovered from the clothing bin. Horrific just the same.

Day 4

in the article they have this:
Defense Attorney Howard Stein also questioned Madel about her report findings.

I believe that is incorrect - I have defense attorney Edward Gavin & the prosecutor as Stein....
