Police, FBI investigating possible break in missing 1-year-old case as family continues search

I thought Lt. Lynch said if there would not be a conference at 5pm the media would know between 3-4:00? something changed unless media was notified and we just don't know?

Was just going to ask this. That sounds pretty ominous but would they really have so much focus on finding her if there is direct evidence she’s not alive?

I don’t think he knows anything more at this point, IMO (no reason, just MOO). I think the fear of “what if” is strong enough that that’s what he’s referencing.

The possibility is very much there that this person did do something terrible to baby V. I think if he knew for certain we would be able to tell. Family would be pretty hysterical I expect...

ETA: Strike that, our UNSUB already did do something crazy/terrible to her, regardless of whether or not she is alive. He took her mother from her, he altered her life in the most permanent of fashions. That alone is pretty damn crazy, too.

Well the "who could have done something very very crazy to a one year old" line kind of ticked me off. If you ask me, it sounds like they think or know she's deceased. How old is this guy, before I pull my hair out?

I had to pick our older son up from the airport tonight. I drive from Derby to Southington to Bradley Airport to Waterbury and back to Derby. My teen and I counted baby V’s face on billboards 7 times.

I had a thought... has the possibility that she was pregnant been considered by anyone? Sadly, we know pregnancy is often a catalyst for escalated DV.

I don’t think he was referring to anything specific. Killing a mother and disappearing a baby, is inherently “crazy.”
