Case #: M-86-341
Date found: September 30th, 1986
Location: Long Island Sound, Westbrook, CT (Middlesex Co)
Estimated age: 18-30
Race: White
Sex: Male
Body conditions: Not recognizable - near complete or complete skeleton
Probable year of death: 1981 to 1986
Estimated postmortem interval: 5 years
Circumstances:
Was caught up in fishing net by fisherman approx. 6 miles off shore.
DNA: Sample submitted - tests complete
My question is, what exactly was caught in the fishing net? A full body? A leg? It was 5 years, so did they just find like a skull or something? Why are there no dentals? Why wasn't it specific about what body parts were found?
