After body of missing woman found, family demands answers from Manchester police on investigation

The family spokesperson of Sherrian Howe said Manchester Police lacked the urgency and response when Howe was first reported missing in December 2021.

The body of Sherrian Howe, 22, of Manchester was recovered from the Connecticut River in Wethersfield on Monday. This comes after she was reported missing for six months.

Those who knew Howe are now speaking out and wondering why Manchester police did not do more in finding her when she was first reported missing in December 2021.

Sherrian Howe, 22, had been missing from the community since Dec. 21, officials said. Police upgraded the case to a silver alert Dec. 29 after police found an unoccupied car connected to Howe in Windsor Locks the day before.
