That was my fear when they said his hat was in the river. Not surprised, just so sad.

Why wouldnt the Sheriff just tell the public the truth?

Oh my goodness! How does this even happen???

It can happen so quickly. If the family was together, the parents could have been listening to another child or family member talking about something, both assuming one or the other was watching the child, next thing you know, they're gone. It is heartbreaking for parents that lose a child in such a manner. Many parents get lucky and find their darlings before something terrible happens to them, but there are some parents who aren't so fortunate.

I hope and pray he's found safe and sound soon, but the hat in the river part scares me, to be honest.

BBM for focus.

Not saying this is the case in this instance, but this type of scenario happened a lot in my family, and only by the grace of God did all my nieces and nephews survive to adulthood.

RIP sweet boy.

There are times when I think ignorance really is bliss. These tragedies happen so frequently and are so heartbreaking. I would never know of them if not for WS. Please Dear Lord bless and strengthen this family.
