Dan Abrams ABC to Interview Lisa's parents 10/17/2011 & Today Show

They didn't show her any burned clothes, according to her they told her they had found burned clothes.

I'd love to know if she asked to see them. If it were my child or grandchild and they were truly missing, I most certainly would want to lay my eyes on what evidence they had to ease my mind they were not from my child.

at the end Dan Abrams says (paraphrased) DB told him she has watched a lot of cases like this where it is the parents and it has completely changed her perspective on that

I did a doubletake about that...just in general but also becuz of all the posters here who have said this case is (so far) almost identical to the Hayleigh Cummings case.

Also, in this interview, Abrams asked what she would say if the person who is responsible for Lisa's disappearance was watching...all she said (apparently) was "She needs us" and "We need her". GEESH...that's all you would say?

Btw, it's been posted that there will be an announcement at 1pm about them hiring an attorney. Why am I not surprised.

In the ABC interview, DB stated: "they showed me burnt clothes".

I just got finished re-watching the interview.

That might be another thing they have, They definetley have something. Now my question is can they use these interviews in grand jury. I hope they just talk away. moo

On the Today Show (other thread), Peter stated at the end of the segment, that the family will announce they are BRINGING in an attorney. There was no mention at all about retaining/hiring an attorney.

Not sure if it's denial. In my own world, I'd like to think he's just going along but eventually will spill if mom confesses. I'm hoping he loves his little girl enough to do the right thing and get her justice.
