Not going to say I told you so, because I'm not taking a bit of joy in being right, but I will repeat what I said about the window being open and popped out...Debbie fell against it. :(

ETA: So who else was in the house that night? Little brother?

So does she even remember who was there that night? I hope the neighbor can shed some light upon what was going on that evening.

Oh my. When did he interview them, or when was the interview aired? Was "drunk" actually her word?

I wonder if she hopes this will somehow work in her favor in some weird twisted way. Like, ok, I was drunk, but that was my only wrongdoing and I am coming clean about it someone I drank with took Lisa? I am just flummoxed she would admit this.

At this point... it doesn't matter how much they claim the local media is against them. I think it's pretty clear they are against themselves. You're just now going to admit this? Obviously, LE has much more insight than we know into this case and their focus on her has been for a reason.

Maybe she wasn't even home and poor Lisa :( JMO

Peter Alexander is with NBC national. It's MSM, and I'd sure say reliable.

Why do you think she is admitting this now, and on national television? What reason could she have to do so? Was someone else going to say so first, I wonder?

I've thought from the get go, or should I say since I read that D bought wine at 2 somthing in the afternoon, that she was possibly tipsy that night. Which makes me sick to my stomach. I have no doubt the baby met with a horrible demise that night...be it accidental death or something else.
crying.....:(

imo

But how would a drunk woman pull off a cover up that stumped tracking dogs, FBI and LE? To me this would make everything SO much more believable. Hypothetically, she drank too much, left lights on, door unlocked, fell asleep, and someone who vaguely observed took advantage- maybe even someone who believed her to be unfit and not worthy of such a happy baby since she was making such choices.

It could also explain the failed polygraph, if she was trying to cover up her state of being or just felt intense guilt because she knows that had she been sober it probably wouldn't have happened. If she was drinking with someone or on her front porch, LE probably already knows and it's just news to us.

ETA- This is all just speculation and thoughts. Obviously there is an alternative that she called someone for help and didn't cover up alone. I realize there are many possibilities. I just think we need more evidence, once the time is appropriate of course.

It was probably going to come out in the Grand Jury.

I just asked Peter when the interview will air or be put on the net, waiting for his reply.

thanks uvamerica.

Im gonna say it...good moms don't get drunk when 3 children are in the house, especially a sick baby. :furious::furious::furious:

I guess my opinion would be that it means that if she was really drunk, somebody else really did snatch the baby. If she was drunk, we probably would have found something by now. I guess it also depends on how drunk 'drunk' is. If she was really drunk, it does explain the 'state of the house'. I also would like to hear her words to this. I really dont trust the media interpretations at all any more (could you tell?).

I hereby retract every politically correct word previously spewed from my keyboard, as I was so careful to not equate buying a box of wine with drinking same. I have no problem with anyone, parent, single or otherwise having a nip or two in the evening. Being drunk - by your own definition! - when you're the sole caregiver of 3 children through the night + 1 is in an infant not feeling up to her best with cough / cold. Gloves are off. Just sayin'. MOO

She had to have help....the husband, neighbor, somebody..........

only mo

I doubt she remembers much=someone 'bad' there had the opportunity to take the baby while she was none the wiser=she should share some of the blame IF this is what did happen. imo

If she was drunk, it might have seemed like a good idea to say the phones were stolen...
