There was no indication that an attorney is being retained, just that they are bringing in an attorney. This attorney may just be part of the "Bill Stanton team".

They will not talk to their children about it???!?!?! Even though they "heard noises"? I don't care how uncomfortable it might be for these children to think about potential bad memories... if they were in the house when this supposed abducting took place, you'd think the parents would WANT to ask them questions -- worded nicely for a child to understand -- about WHAT they heard!!! Their memory could be a key!

Thanks for posting the link to video. DB is much more controlled in this interview but closes her eyes at times when she doesn't want to "see" what she is thinking. Very telling. Her eyes also dart sideways as she begins to answer each question. Looks suspicious. jmo

I agree BetteDavisEyes. Made me think of Susan Smith. I wish I still had that link about which way the eyes look when showing deception. I cannot recall if it's left or right.

IN the ABC interview JI says that DB had woken up when he got there and then they talked for a couple of minutes. He asked her what was going on and he told her about the lights and she jumped out of bed and then he realized something was wrong.

When he first got home he didn't realize Baby Lisa was gone.

I thought he said he went into the room to ask DB where is Lisa?

Sorry if this has been posted, but in the Today interview, Alexander says that DB last saw Lisa when she put her to bed at 6:40, and didn't check on her after that (contradicting 10:30 claim). Hmmm.

and she told the the people magazine this:

Bradley settled down at home for dinner and drinking with a neighbor. She put Lisa down in her room around 6:40 p.m., she says. Only once more soon afterward did she check on Lisa, finding her standing in her crib before tucking her back in.

Not to my other young children they wouldn't. LE would get one shot at interviewing my 5 year old. One. With an advocate present.

LE would be SOL interviewing him a second time.

I thought I heard her say they TOLD her there were burned clothes, not that they showed her burned clothes.

I just heard DB say "they showed me burnt clothes" "They told me about doppler pings on my cel phone" "I hope the burnt clothes weren't real" (referring to the fact that LE may have been using an investigative technique as opposed to something related to her daughter)

"I couldn't have done anything to her my daughter"

DA "How do you know?"

DB "I just know. Because there is a God"

Pedophiles are most definitely into babies. Like any abuser, they have their own age preferences from newborn to teens but it's not like they always have easy access to their favorite one. Sometimes they have to take what they can get, other times they may choose to abuse a child who is too young to tell on them effectively.

If a pervert took Lisa, I'm betting he is someone who is close enough to the family that he knew that Dad wasn't home and Mom was passed out. He is a neighbor, friend or relative. He may have been waiting for his opportunity to get to this baby and when he saw it he took it. (He may have even encouraged Mom to party that night!) I think that the intent was to sexually assault the baby but not necessarily kill her. Something went wrong and he had to (sorry!) get rid of her.

I'm calling this my "theory of the moment" because who knows what we'll find out next!

I really believe that Lisa's mom is probably a very loving and attentive mother who used very bad judgement that night. She took a chance that many foolish parents have taken without such serious consequences. How many times have otherwise responsible parents left the kids with a sitter and came home drunk? Everyone doesn't do it, but many parents have. It is just like driving home from a party or bar, making it home safely and thinking that you must be a really good driver when you are drunk. The fact is, you were just lucky not to have a wreck or get pulled over!

She did not plan on blacking out, but I think she did and now her baby is gone.:twocents:

See - I'm jaded and cynical but I get the feeling Lisa's mom likes to appear to be a very loving and attentive mother who used very bad judgement that night. JMO
