Wow, drinking on the porch, if someone was watching that would be a nice heads-up. IF there is a kidnapper. If not, anything could have happened, and there may not be an accomplice. I hate to say this, but my first thought was LE needs to check the street sewers. :(

6:40 bedtime for a 10 month old is early.

A sick baby with a cold/cough usually doesn't sleep the entire night. Could it be possible that because she was put down so early (6:40) that later that night Lisa would not go back to sleep? That may have angered DB?

I know my kids from the time they were that age and even now, if they fell asleep during that time, they would be up later in the night for a few hours.

I agree its early, and cold/cough...she probably woke up again and would you not as a parent go check more often of a child that is sick? I know this sounds bad but when my child was sick she slept with me and I basically stayed half awake monitoring her every move, cough etc... Id still be curious to know did she give her any medication for the cold.

If PD has all those things, why haven't they arrested DB yet? KC Anthony was arrested long before Caylee's body was found.

Casey was arrested on the stolen check charges first, she was not charged for Caylee's murder until after her remains were found.

All of what things? There isn't any evidence of a murder that we know of. LE can't bring charges against someone without proof. So far, there is no proof yet that Lisa is dead... accidental or otherwise.

Bradley says police asked her if she killed Lisa, who was 10 months old when she disappeared Oct. 4. She says she doesn't "think alcohol changes a person enough to do something like that."

I'd say this woman must still be drunk! Has she never heard that alcohol and drug abuse is the leading cause of domestic violence and child abuse.

Good Lawd...

Mel

In other words, she doesn't think alcohol can make a "nice" person "mean." She obviously never met my ex...nicest person in the whole wide world...until he took that one drink too many...and he did that daily.

I agree. The more I see, The more I believe the mother had nothing whatsoever to do with this. I do believe that people who are planning something bad, Watch and look for opportunity. And this was a good one. It almost makes me more sure it may be someone she knows at least on a fringe.

I agree with the mother.. Keep Looking! Just keep looking. I believe that the problem in the Aisenberg case was that they stopped looking for Sabrina and focused way too much on the parents.

Look Out while looking in. This baby is somewhere. KEEP LOOKING!!!

i completely agree. i am still on the fence, but these new interviews have not swayed me more toward the mother. it kind of seems like you and i are going to be in the minority from now on. :seeya:

Not in my opinion. I think she wouldnt be worried about being arrested. Take desiree young kyrons mom. She always begged for someone to return kyron. If i were innocent i would be begging on national tv to return her somewhere safe. moo

Desiree Young was never a suspect in Kyron's disappearance. In Kyron's case there was a stepparent, and that increases the odds of the parent being involved.

I would also be begging for the return of my child, unless I got advice from parents of other missing children/experts on how to best handle things. I haven't heard if Klass and Co. have been in contact with the family, but I would bet they were. This kind of "expert" advice would explain switching to Nat'l coverage, etc. and would certainly tell them how to act on camera to keep the attention on the story. It could well be that begging and pleading won't get the media attention that they desperately need.

Here's one reason I still have faith in the parents. If one or both of them were guilty, they would be trying desperately to NOT get media attention now. Any lawyer will tell you that you need to shut your mouth - guilty or innocent. The family seems to be on a "focused" course - trying to spread the interviews in a way to maximize coverage. Kind of like Beth Holloway did with Natalie. Keep it in the news. Keep your calm. Focus.

I think I heard that they did...but I can't link you to it so don't take it as fact, but someone else may know.

In response to a question about how much she'd had to drink, I thought I heard Deborah say, "Enough to get drunk."

Hi BDE.. I didn't hear that in the interview I watched. Is there more than one interview... I haven't had time to read the People article either... BTW.. Good to see you again. Are you seeing shades of Ron C and Misty C with these two like I am?

So to hear DB tell it..

She went to the store at 4:45 to get some wine. She doesn't have a license so she had to get a ride with her brother. Wonder why she didn't just ask JI to go get a big box of wine for her to drink while he was at work and she was home with the children.

She had wine with dinner (with or without the neighbour? Still not clear on that). No mention of JI still being home at this time. Don't know if he was home with the children during the wine trip or during dinner.

She continued to drink the wine with the neighbour until about 10:30pm...on a Monday night...a school night for the boys.

She dumped Lisa in her crib at 6:40pm so she wouldn't get in the way of the "adult time"? Lisa wasn't tired as she had to go in and resettle her because she was standing in the crib. She doesn't give a time for that.

She let the boys and the neighbour's 4 year old hang out in their room unsupervised all night "watching a fairy tale movie". I read somewhere that the boys and the neighbour's child had fallen asleep watching the movie. This I now believe.

Neighbour leaves at 10:30pm. I assume she gathered up her sleeping child then. Younger son somehow makes it into parent's bed. No clarification on how that happened.

DB goes to sleep (passes out) leaving all the lights on, the door unlocked. Why were all the lights on? Were the boys and the neighbour's child running amok in the house earlier turning on all the lights? She claimed she was on the computer and left the window open. When was that supposed to have happened? If the light was on in the room, the kids probably were in there because the light would not have been turned on until after dark. So unless she was drunk posting, I'm going to disregard that part of the story.

So she drank to excess outside on her porch with a friend, on a school night, without supervising any of the 4 children in her house and JI believes her to be a "good mother"? His standards are way too low.

She says that her drinking had absolutely nothing to do with her daughter's disappearance but she's admitting to being so drunk that she probably left the door unlocked and all the lights on when she was passed out drunk in a room at the back of the house with a fan on high speed, the door closed and no phone handy. She might as well have put up a big sign in the window inviting the petty thieves and night crawlers in the neighbourhood to come in to the house to finish off the wine and take whatever they wanted. Which, according to her, they did...except all they wanted was a baby and a few cell phones.

Just wow.

So if JI was possibly not at home from the time of the wine purchase until the early morning hours...exactly how long did he work that night? What time did he really get home and what did he find?

MOO

Deborah: Uh enough to be drunk

Peter: So you were drunk

Her friend left for home about 10:30 p.m., and later told Bradley that she saw the lights in the house go dark. But Bradley herself can't say if she turned off those lights, or whether they may have been flipped on by an intruder whom she believes entered her home through the open front window and took her child

I know desiree wasnt a suspect. sorry my post must be worded wrong. I think this new revelation about being drunk is gonna be part of her defense. THEORY ONLY. moo :seeya:

Why hasn't Debra sat and talked with the 2 older children ? she wont let LE interview them but says she hasn't even talked with them to see what they might have heard or saw ??:furious:

I don't for a minute believe that! If that was my baby I'd question my other 2 kids right away!

KCTV5 spoke to Bill Stanton, the consultant who is working with the couple.

"Your version of drunk maybe different than Deborah's version of drunk," said Bill Stanton.

Stanton said she did have two or three drinks that night, but he thinks she misspoke when she made that statement to a national reporter.

http://www.kctv5.com/story/15709753/baby-lisas-mom-admits-she-was-drunk-when-her-baby-vanished

((nurse to Bill: you cannot unring a bell buddy))

Lisa Irwin's mother drank enough wine at home while relaxing with a neighbor that she has no recollection of whether or not she checked on her daughter or turned off the house lights before she went to bed.

Did the alcohol cause her to black out? "It's a possibility," Deborah Bradley tells PEOPLE.

http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20537543,00.html

I think Deborah's concept of drunk is distinctly different from Bill Stanton's concept.

Either DB was too sloshed when tending to Lisa and accidentally killed her, or someone took advantage of DB's drunken state to kidnap Lisa. No matter which, the only parent present getting smashed while their sleeping children are in the home, is utterly shameful, IMO.

From your CBS link:

"If they arrest me, people are going to stop looking for her and I'll never know what happened," Bradley said.
Ohmygosh...it's all about her (Deborah). She doesn't say "where is Lisa? please drop her off at a hospital, police station, church or fire station"...she doesn't say "I'm very worried about her well-being...please feed her 'x' food"...she doesn't say "please take her to the hospital if she still has that cold/cough"...she doesn't say "please get her another Barney toy"...she doesn't say "please hold her and tell her you love her"...

Unbelievable...but true. :(
