When I think about Danny and Veronica, I think about my childhood. I think about riding in their parent's VW bug, I think about Friday night slumber parties and Pizza Hut "Big Foot" pizzas. I think about the litter of Veronica's kittens that died and we buried in a flower pot and gave last rights to. I think about Wednesday night church with their family and Marvin and Rhonda bowling on Thursday which meant Danny was in charge. Danny was awesome to have in charge. He played music and made funny songs. We made silly comics about our families with him. I remember him drawing his parents as bowling pins, his dad's pin was super skinny and was labeled "Starvin Marvin". I think about Saturday morning bike rides and picnics at the soccer field. I think about the girl cutting Ronnie's (Veronica-we didn't know her name was Veronica until middle school-she was just Ronnie to us) hair in class because she was jealous.

Danny Green 22, Veronica Green Orellana, 21, Omar Orellana, 2, and Gloria Orellana, 1, all of Kansas City, MO, died on April 26, 2004, at their home. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2004, at Northland Abundant Life Worship Center, 7700 N. Church Rd., Kansas City, MO 64158. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the church with a time for sharing at 8 p.m. The family will be present at 7:30 p.m. A private burial will take place at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO. Memorial contributions may be made in their memory to the Green Memorial Fund, Bank of Belton, 204 Main St., Belton, MO 64012. Danny was born on July 5, 1981, and Veronica on June 17, 1982, both in south Kansas City, MO. They are the children of Marvin and Rhonda (Henderson) Green. They grew up in the south Kansas City area and attended New Life Ministries. Danny was the Director of Music and pianist at the church. Veronica was a loving mother of two children, to whom she was deeply devoted, Omar, who was born August 11, 2001, and Gloria, who was born January 3, 2003, both in Overland Park, KS. Danny and Veronica were preceded in death by a grandfather, Ted Branson. They are survived by their parents, Marvin and Rhonda Green, grandparents, Dwight and Laverna Henderson, Midge Branson, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. They all will be deeply missed and our prayers are with them.
