I understand what you are saying. She put them in their grave, but yet she's still has to be the center of attention. I'm sorry, but if my children were dead I wouldn't give a rat's behind how I looked. And as for the the silly string, well, that just sealed the deal for me.

My BIL's girlfriend acted like the center of attention after he died too. :furious:Had to look wonderful, teared up at the right occassions, ect....Right up until her ex-husband came and picked her up and saved me from going to prison for committing bodily assault. :banghead:

You're right about that Tez. Most of us would need to be scraped off of the floor. She looked like she was auditioning for the movie of the week. And, from what her husband said, they most likely discussed playing themselves in the parts.

Overpowering guilt can make your mind beleive anything it needs to in order to not feel the real deal. Look at all the people who were abused as children and block it out -the minds defense mechanism. I also think that she truly believes what she has psyched her mind out to think.

You may well be right Kitty.

You know, that part about themselves playing the parts is just sickening. Why would you even want to relive that?

Money. Didn't Darin say something to someone about this being the "biggest thing" to hit Rowlett or something to that effect? Didn't they also sell the movie rights (to CWB, I believe)?? :waitasec:

Yes, I remember him saying something like that.

Both of them are just sick. No other word to describe it.

He'd take a sock instead of the murder weapon? Wouldn't the knife be a more incriminating piece of evidence than a sock?
Well of course it would, I am sure he would have taken the knife as well.

Thanks, I was wondering the other day what was going on.

The hearing was delayed due to DNA testing not completed in time for submission and it should be rescheduled sometime after the first of the year but there is no date set yet.

I guess I missed something. I thought this hearing was to act on the motion for dna testing by the state court.

I have been reading through the forum on Darlie (trying to anyways, there are alot of threads on her) and looking her up on gogle. i have seen the American Justice show on the murders, silly string viteo, etc. I have no doubt she is where she belongs. Either that or the guy who killed the 2 boys is one fortunate SOB, does all this and a housewife takes the fall for him and he walks scot free. He comes in and kills the boys, leaves a witness alive, drops the weapon which she later picks up and puts her fingerprints all over it and and flees. He left no evedince behind, except Darlie, but lucky for him she remembers nothing about a man who attacks her and kills her 2 kids in front of her. Okaaaaaaaaaaaay. Not to mention the pile of jewelry untouched on the counter, purse untouched, nothing at all missing from the home of rich folks who had a lot of stuff to steal. So what was the point? What did he come for?

Hi 2sisters:

He came to sexually assault the lucious Darlie....he could see her lying there on the couch through the sliding glass doors...according to Chris Brown that is. But he doesn't jimmy that door and enter that way and abduct her....he makes it so difficult...he slits a screen and crawls through a window into a dark, overcrowded garage. Yep luck was on his side as he left not a trace of himself around or on that window or in the garage or anywhere in the Routier home. Yes very fortunate 2sisters...

Yep, me too. Do we know what they have tested?

No, nothing.

Well I don't, you could check the two websites and see if they have anything.

I know what the defence wants tested but that's about it.

This could be why the hearing date is on hold and why no news is forthcoming of late.

On 2/16/2007, The Dallas Morning News reported that the Innocence
Project will review Dallas County convictions. The group will decide
whether 354 cases warrant DNA testing. The article can be found at:

Did anyone see American Justice yesterday? Apparently they had some sort of update to their "mother on death row" program on Darlie. The update was about the dna tests, etc., and "new evidence" which apparently ain't so new at all since it was the sighting of the two suspects by Darlene Potter, the transcript errors and the smudged bloody print..(they brought in the exhumation of the boys this time). That some evidence was sent to California and that's what the defence was waiting for and why the hearing was postponed.

The prosecution replied with their evidence is still strong and there's more of it. Should she win an appeal and a new trial, they are prepared to try her for Devon's murder.

I've received this all second-hand so....take it as you find it..although I am sure Dena you got it all.

I saw the last 20 minutes of it. They have: (1) the so-called unidentified fingerprint; (2) the transcripts; and (3) this supposed new "eye witness" to two suspects that "fit the description" of one of the men Darlie claims to have seen. I guess we'll have to wait and see. If she's granted a new trial, the State of Texas is ready apparently.

Found from Mama Kee on
http://boards.courttv.com/showthread.php?threadid=294044&perpage=40&pagenumber=7

she states:
"The latest DNA testing proves the screen was not cut by the knife that had a serrated blade, so that particular knife was not used to enter the house. A smooth bladed knife was used."

You think she is probably privy to more updated testing results than we are? What do you all make of this because if it's true then that's pretty big news and a different theory on the timeline and possibly who dun it?

This is not "evidence." This is a desperate mom trying to get her daughter off of death row.
