Dateline Episode

Way to go Fassbender!! Intelligent, polite and honest answers. His concern for the real victims, Teresa and her family came across loud and clear. Was wonderful to see a program give air time to the person Teresa was to her friends. The squirming and childish antics on social media by SA's current and former attorneys seems to be an indication of how effective Fassbender was. More of it please MSM. [emoji4]

It's interesting how people see the exact same piece and have completely polar oppostite views.

Fassbender said "he wasn't sure" about obvious facts that any joe blow would know

Had terrible body language

Double downed on the Dassey confession.

Admitted no blood was found in the garage but "Steve cleaned it all, paint thinner and other products" The odds of that are like 1/100000. Funny how a cop would get married to a theory that only advances his theory.

Said the "key" that looks like a friggin spare key not a primary key was "found in/on a book shelf" What? You friggin liar! It's on the floor in plain sight! Someone did not "find the key" in/on the book shelf and move it! He's lying right in front of you!

Look you think Avery killed her and that's fine but that key was planted by corrupt police and how he talked to Dassey was disgraceful.

Fassbender is a piece of human garbage and a person I will reference to my kids as they grow up as being deceptive, arrogant and not a true advocate of justice.

Sooooo, I finally watched it this morning! LOL

I was thankful that Kratz wasn't on much. It was good to finally hear from Fassbender. It looks like the clip I watched a few days ago was about right IMO He seems to be leaving that door open.... in case they were wrong about Brendan. Maybe he's had time to reflect since Nirider and Drizin have taken it apart? Maybe he took part in one of the seminars where they use BD's confession and describe to LE WHAT NOT TO DO when interrogating juveniles? lol

I like that the interviewer called Fassbender out on "spoon fed" information to BD, asking if it's reliable if they spoon fed it to him... I hit rewind a few times, Fassbender says, no (and something but I couldn't make it out), then says based on the entirety of the interview, he would say yes... but he sure didn't seem sure in the way he said it. JMO

Kratz brought up the past allegations of SA, the handcuffs... and Dateline did say BUT WAIT.... SA wasn't charged with those crimes... and TH's DNA was NOT on the handcuffs.

I was expecting it to be more State lopsided, but I think it was okay. I like that this show seemed to focus more on Brendan and less on SA, Brendan's case always seems to be overshadowed by SA's in most other shows I have watched, so nice to see a bit of focus on BD.

It was nice to see a friend of Teresa's on the show too and it made me smile, which apparently Teresa loved to make people smile, so mission accomplished. :rose:

They'd probably think it would just be easier to kill Zellner....
Anyone want to bet a body shows up on her property sometime soon? :D

Gosh~~~I hope not! But, then again this is not her first rodeo, so I'm sure she is use to it by now. I'm sure she has angered many LE and prosecutors in the process of freeing innocent people. I suspect when the hammer comes down or is about to come down~~some will not stop at any means to protect their reputations. Um...as in this case.

All JMHO.
I'm with you, BCA.
I'm betting she's ticked a lot of folks off!

I do agree, more of it please.
IF you're referring to more interviews with Manitowoc County LE & others who have played a roll in this case.
I'd love to see them squirm with blinky eye's too😊

I watched the spoon fed part twice too, Missy. I will say, IMO, Fassbender let his conscience come through a bit there🙄
I got teary eye'd when they played Teresa's home movie.
Listening to her talk & thinking to myself
" such a cute girl with so much life ahead of her. "
She deserves Justice.
Gosh I wish in cases like this the dead could come back and talk somehow.
It's just so sad to think about her being killed, accident or not, and NO ONE knows what happened.

if you really want to see childish antics and squirming... you should check out KK's gf's twitter (and IMO is probably KK more than her)

So you're of the opinion that Fassbender lied in court?

His concern for the real victims, Teresa and her family came across loud and clear.

I haven't watched it yet, does Fassbender show as much concern for the victims as he does here...or does this count as childish antics?

From Page 97 of Ken Kratz's book.
The 10th of October is also the date Avery took photos of his erect penis, found date stamped and printed on his desk during the search of his trailer.
"It looks like Teresa's last visit to the Avery property had a major impact on Steven," said Tom, dryly
Tom is Fassbender. Kratz calls him Tom numerous times throughout the book.

I thought I would bring this over here since it's relevant to the Dateline show.

KZ statement to Dateline.jpg

1 ~ I like that she addressed this "SA saying she wasn't there" poo... and points out that others did lie (Zipperer's?)

2 ~ KK diagnosing SA as psychopath... didn't the Dateline interviewer call KK out on this? and he corrected it and said allegedly ? How is it worded in his book? I thought he said sociopath, but whatever.

3 ~ other acts, which were ruled inadmissable. She references this document: http://www.stevenaverycase.org/wp-c...tion-of-Nine-Items-of-Other-Acts-Evidence.pdf

4~ No DNA on the handcuffs. The show did mention this. She also mentions that only one call between them before the 31st and was on the 10th. On the 10th, she did a hustle shot. Kratz makes comments in the show that SA starts calling TH directly and not AT... uhmmm h called AutoTrader the morning of the 31st, so how could that be Kratz? and the best I can tell is that TH would want people to contact her directly, especially if they are repeat customers... she made way more money on hustle shots.

5 ~ I wish we could have seen this full statement... but it was covered up so couldn't be seen on the show.. but I like this part of the statement ;-)

We will be able to demonstrate exactly how the evidence was planted in the early part of the investigation.

Pfft! What does he know about the law, or even Zellner for that matter?! The real experts are right here on WS's and they say he's guilty! ( He killed a cat once ya know). ;)

Hi Safeguard!! :seeya:

Hope you are doing well!!!

Great Post! But, I would think KK knows more about the law than JB or KZ, don't you. After all, he did try the biggest case in WI history. [sarcasm included]

Great point, BCA, however..
Do you think Kratz, being all hopped up on DRUGS even knew his butt from a whole in the ground? Or remembers half of what went down??
Perhaps that's why he has some of his "facts" mixed up in his book??
Just a thought😊
