Had it not taken them over four months to do so, I'd have an easier time listening to their version of events. I still wouldn't have bought it though as Patsy practically signed the Ransom Note.

At the time the broadcast was being shown and John said he would cooperate, Detectives Steve Thomas and Tom Trujillo flew to Atlanta to speak to the "cooperative John and Patsy." They stayed up late that night writing questions to ask the Ramseys. In the morning when the Detectives drove to the Paughs to meet with the Ramseys, they soon found out that John and Patsy got on John's plane and flew to destination unknown.

IOW's...the Ramseys got wind of the pending interview with Detectives and got the heck out of Dodge! So much for cooperation.
