DB's brother leaves north walrond home with detectives 11/1/11

  • #201
I don't believe for one second that the Irwin family is not PO'd at DB for her actions or non-action that night. Their son and/or brother is cleared .... DB is not. I think the Irwins are smart enough people not to throw DB to the curb, as she is the only adult that was at the scene of the crime.

I don't believe that the first one has been confirmed by LE, has it? Also, the second statement... I think it's all up in the air as to how many adults were there that night. JMHO

It was in an interview with Cyndy Short, it's posted here somewhere but I don't remember exactly which day.

:offtopic:

I'll supply the link for you.

Police: Parents of missing Missouri girl decline separate interviews
http://edition.cnn.com/2011/10/27/justice/missouri-missing-girl/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

~snip~
The couple's attorney disputed the police account and said Jeremy Irwin and Deborah Bradley, parents of 11-month-old Lisa Irwin, are not opposed to separate interviews. But they will not do what police requested, an unrestricted interview with no attorneys present, the attorney said.

Note that what CS allegedly said is not in quotes, so cannot be confirmed/verified as coming out of her mouth.

What is in quotes from CS in that article:

"Being questioned separately is not the issue," said attorney Cyndy Short.

The rest, again is not in quotes...

She said the couple has been cooperative and has previously been interviewed separately as well as together. They don't mind being interviewed separately as long as the detectives are fair, open-minded and nonaccusatory, she said.

I'm not claiming that she didn't say it, but we need to be mindful of how media can twist things, or how things may get distorted by paraphrasing a person.

If there is a different link where it's in quotes, or there's a video where she say's those words herself please post it.

New here. Do we have any news of whether her brother is still had the in-laws home after returning there today?

  • #204
Wow I have a lot of catching up to do. I had to get back injections today and lay down in bed, I had to get up and see what the heck was going on and I come on to this. Ok, looks like we are moving along. Love to see LE doing stuff, makes me happy.

Now can someone please tell me what all those initials for the brothers are for because I never was so confused in my whole life.

Link please? Did JI say this in an interview?

Here's your link.

I did receive a note from Nurse, saying links are needed - it just seems extremely time consuming to go back and find the exact information that is pretty common knowledge in some cases. I think in this case, this information that they called him "uncooperative" because he asked for a break after 11 hours of grueling questioning, and telling Deborah she failed a LDT. I found the videos, I think, but they no longer open. Here's the text.

(and that's a half hour of my life I'll never get back)

:welcome:

I don't know if he's at the Irwin home at this moment, but he returned to the home once he was finished with investigators.

I took a nap with sick DD and sick DH and woke up to this. Maybe my naps are getting 'tehcloser power'.

On a more serious note, I do hope that this is a sign of things moving along quickly.

:praying:

I really think you should go back to sleep so this case can get wrapped up. We'll wake you up, I promise.

:you're getting sleepy hypnotism emoticon here:

Now? Weeks later ? While,God only knows what, has been happening to the baby?
If LE is only now ,starting to eliminate those at the house that day,my head will explode.
And IF that is the case, it does scream of a very tunnel-visioned investigation. Note I stated IF

Well GSB (grocery store bro) who drove
DB past the BP went with LE while JT was hiring another ATTN while BS was getting :waitasec: Meanwhile, MW has possibly been interviewed now 7 times and SW is still mum. CS has been somewhat quiet today and CP(Coldpizza) is wondering WHAT NEXT?

Scrabble anyone? It would be funny except where is Pumpkin Pie?

Wasn't it Phil's vehicle which was driven to the supermarket to get the wine? If not, whose car was he driving?

Has that car been taken into evidence? I wonder this, because Phil had to go home from the cop chop in a rental?

That should be Cop Shop not Cop Chop.

Subliminal thing there.

Actually, you are right.. it has not been confirmed by the LE that Jeremy is cleared .. according to JI, LE didn't request a poly from him because he was at work.

As for adults in the house, what I mean is Debbie should have been the ONLY adult in the house. IMO.. the Irwin family may feel the same way.. she should have been the only adult in the house .... IMO.. the Irwins keep her close to keep their eyes and ears open as they struggle to understand what happened to baby Lisa.

However, Jeremy Irwin said he reached a 'boiling point' Thursday after 11 hours of questioning and couldn't stand any more.

I can see why, though. There's no telling how long he had been awake at that point, but it must have been well over 24 hours. His daughter has been kidnapped, his SO is being accused of murder... I think I would want a break, too. Seriously.

It's in there. Maybe if you open the page, and do a find for "break", you'll see it.

edited to add: Here's another one, this time a Reuter's story. If you don't immediately see the quote, do a find for "break" again.

:floorlaugh: Phewww! So it's not just me then. My head has been spinning in this thread with all the different initials.

All I know for sure is that it's being reported that it was the brother that went to festival foods with DB that afternoon who went with the detectives.

HE didn't specifically ask for a break after 11 hours. The parents said they needed a break as the excuse for no longer talking to LE......

'We don't know:' Parents appeared on morning shows Friday to fight claims that they have stopped cooperating with police
But Irwin and Bradley said they only needed a break from incessant police questioning.

Kansas City Police Department Captain Steve Young told ABC News: 'They're talking with us and that is absolutely the best thing.'

new poster memno has brought forward a link that says GSB is PN:

Earlier on Tuesday, Deborah Bradley's brother, Phil, was interviewed by Kansas City police. Sources told KMBC 9 News that the questioning was voluntary and lasted less than two hours.
