DC - $1 Congress looks at doing away with the one dollar bill $1

Our govt. save money? Bwa ha ha

I already think quarters weigh my purse down too much. The last thing I want to do is add more weight via $1 coins. I'd rather get rid of the penny and nickel.

On a lighter note, how will this affect the exotic dancer and strip club industry?

How do patrons tip their dancers with coins?

In Australia I believe clubs sell their own currency or something of that ilk.

Meh. You get used to it. Wish they could do away with pennies.

I think gone are the days that patrons tip $1 or even $2 for a dance. lol

Am going to the bank Monday and getting some then. Did look them up online last night after I posted, and they do look promising. (Though they also look like they could make one's pants fall down if one had a pocketful; need to invest in better belt then, or suspenders even!)

Now we know what to get you for Christmas. :D

So if they get rid of the dollar bill and you're a stripper does that make it an occupational hazard?

No. The price just goes up. A good use for the $2 bill.

I was thinking the same thing, not just strippers but a lot of people depend on tips. They'll all going to be 20 lbs heavier at the end of the night.
