Agreed. We've seen this before, in Germany, in the run-up to all-out government murder of Jewish persons and others that were made marginalized. The German youth were (overall) all too eager to push a hateful rhetoric and create havoc. We are seeing its resurgence here, IMO. Anti-Semitism, and I also feel anti-Christian, rhetoric and evil action by evil persons who have gathered around a cause I doubt they even know much about. MOO.
It is insanity. This young many destroyed three lives. Throws his own life away to murder two young people he didn't know, who never did anything to him, and never harmed anyone, just to make a political statement. Does he think he will be a hero, a martyr? Will he be treated as one?Agreed.
Sadly there's not much difference.
Hating people who have not harmed you, and for a reason they're not responsible for --only makes the haters look ignorant and evil.
Imo.
Speaking as a Jewish New Yorker who’s lived here all my life in peace and safety, I no longer feel safe in my own country.
This was a deplorable act of terrorism. Jewish embassy staffers at a Jewish Museum. Young people about to get engaged.
Unspeakable, IMO.
Thank you SO much, @LunaticFringe.I am so very sorry that you have to go through this. I can't believe what is happening in this world. Please know that I stand with Israel and I always will. You are Lions who will survive and get through this one way or another.
You know where I stand Arkay. Americans not feeling safe in America is NOT okay and simply because someone is Jewish makes it even more unacceptable. Hate is an evil cancer. I don't know what the solution is, but I know the opposite of hate is love.Speaking as a Jewish New Yorker who’s lived here all my life in peace and safety, I no longer feel safe in my own country.
