Blood found inside missing D.C. man's vehicle. Police need your help finding him.

A D.C. man is missing in what authorities are calling "suspicious circumstances" and police need the public's help finding him.

Police say that the vehicle Johnson was last known to be driving was found on the 3700 block of D Street, SE, with blood inside.

If anyone knows of Mr. Johnson's whereabouts, they are asked to call D.C. police at 202-727-9099or 911.

Family Pleads for Answers After DC Man Disappears

A D.C. family is pleading for answers after a man disappeared more than a week ago.

Keith Johnson was last seen at his home on Tobias Drive SE on Monday, July 13.

Police found Johnson's car days after he went missing four miles away from his house on D Street SE. Investigators said they found blood in the car.

Keith Johnson’s family searched the woods near his childhood home off of Ridge Road SE Tuesday in the hopes of finding something. His car was found approximately a mile from the wooded area.

D.C. police are investigating the suspicious disappearances of a man and woman who went missing last week from different parts of the city.

Keith Johnson, 43, was last seen at his home in Southeast D.C.

“A significant amount of blood” was found in his car, Chief of Police Peter Newsham said in an update Thursday.

Johnson was last seen at his home in the 1800 block of Tobias Drive SE the morning of July 13.

His car was found three days later with a large amount of blood in the rear and the front passenger seat. A lab will determine whether the blood is his. Johnson's wallet was found during a search of the vehicle. Detectives saw no new activity on his bank accounts.

This sounds really really bad. I wonder if his bank card and/or credit cards were still in his wallet? If they were, they makes me even more worried, as it wouldn’t have been as likely to be a robbery. DC is a hotspot with all the protests going on. Whether it had anything to do with that, who knows. I feel so bad that he hasn’t been found yet.
